Hux House Cleaning

The GOOD (G): (1G) The website is easy to use. (2G) the cleaner showed up early, (3G) the cleaner sent pics as requested. THE BAD (B): (1B) The cleaner did not communicate when she should have and that caused big issues that could have easily been avoided with a simple conversation via phone or via text, (2B) $55/hour for an individual cleaner is outrageous, (3B) especially for the work performed, which the realtor mentioned was subpar. STEER CLEAR of "Light Cleaning": They don't really do anything. Maybe this particular cleaner would have cleaned better if someone has been there? I suggest only use when you're in a pinch and make sure you're there.

My wife was very happy with my gift to her since she has been so busy with grandkids work and trips with me. This is the first time that she allowed another person to clean her house. Claudia did a great job working nonstop. Will certainly have her back.

We have used them twice. They do an average job with cleaning but are easy to book at the last minute. The two cleaners that I've had didn't stay as long as other cleaners nor did they do a really thorough job. However, it was an okay job and if you need someone in a pinch I would still recommend them.

Amanda was great. She was early and started right away, even with me still there. She finished a little early but stayed until I got there at the agreed time. She did an amazing job!! My only problem was with after. I bought a deal on Angie's but because it didn't cover all of the service price, Angie's prices vary from provider, I had to pay more to the company after. I would hire again but I will deal directly with them.

My google review: ?????????????????? If I could leave a rating lower than one star, I would leave a negative number of stars! This service was recommended by many people on my Nextdoor app, the cleaner I chose (Quanita) in particular. I had to move out of my house because the owner is selling it, and she left me a list of items to be cleaned thoroughly. I hired QUANITA COPELAND through Hux to do a deep/move out clean with add-ons like refrigerator and oven on Sunday, as that was the last day I could be at house, which I made very clear. It was scheduled over a week ago. She arrived almost 4 hours late, cleaned part of one bathroom then called me to say she had a stomach virus all of a sudden. I told her it was my last day there or I could be charged extra rent, and she told me to call Hux to see if they could schedule an emergency cleaning. That was a joke because when I called, you don't even have the option to leave a message. It just tells you to go to the website or email them then hangs up! Too, I had to hunt for a phone number, and when I called, I discovered Hux has no way to even talk to a human! Further, when I tried multiple times to contact Quanita to find out if she took the tip I left her (which she took before even finishing the cleaning even though she knew she may not be the one coming back to clean!), where the cleaning list is, and where my house key is, she didn't respond until hours later. So, my only recourse was to send an email to Hux support and hope and wait for them to read it and send a cleaner out the next day. I am livid!!! If I get charged extra rent for this, I'm holding Hux responsible!!! If it is not fixed and the house cleaned to my satisfaction, I will be leaving horrific reviews on every site I can find! Update: I finally got a call from the supervisor at Hux--Ray--Monday morning, and he was very apologetic. He said he would give me a discount after I let him know how cleaning went, and he called my landlord to explain it wasn't my fault the house wasn't cleaned on time, which I appreciated. Quantita went back to house Monday to complete the cleaning. When we checked that evening, it was subpar at best. The carpets were the worst, as there was dirt and pet hair still everywhere. Even the bathroom fixtures hadn't even been wiped down. It didn't smell like any cleaning products were even used. I have about 30 pictures of dirt all over. To top it off, Quanita called me to say Hux cancelled the service and she didn't get paid, and she wanted me to contact Hux to tell them she cleaned and should pay her. She also gave me a guilt trip saying she cleaned longer than she was scheduled for, (like she did me some favor after bailing on me) but that seems unlikely since it was such a crappy job. I don't know how Hux handled the money; I just know I was charged and it already came out of my account. I wrote Ray (the Hux supervisor) back, but I received a generic response with no name and still haven't heard from Ray or any other supervisor, so I don't know if I'm getting a discount or what. I feel like I should get a total refund because of what happened and the poor cleaning job. I could end up being charged by landlord. Unless Hux does something over the top to make this up to me, I'll be giving Hux and Quanita terrible reviews wherever I can. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.

The cleaner (Edith) arrived right on time and we discussed the services I was to have performed. I am very pleased with the level of cleanliness she was able to cover in 7 hours, however I think there should be some sort of disclaimer noted that in some instances a "full" cleaning and/or extras will not be able to be accomplished so expectations are not unrealistic. Luckily I am a customer who understood that if I wanted a spit shined bathroom, then something would need to be given up. In my case the kitchen wasn't touched at all. I am not displeased with the service and would hire them again, but would not pay for extras in advance if my focus was elsewhere.

Fantastic! I could easily see which housecleaners were available in time frame I needed and what each type of cleaning included. I could compare reviews and prices easily in one place and could even see which ones were fine with being around our 4 animals. She did an excellent job and I'm looking forward to booking her again!

After my first cleaning, I don't think my house had been that clean (even when we moved in). I swear, the bathroom tile looked brand new. The providers always arrive on time, and even bring certain cleaning products if I request them. They are professional, kind, and efficient. I'm happy to support Hux every time I need my home cleaned! The process is VERY simple to book online and I receive text reminders prior to my cleaning AND after to make sure I was satisfied.

Cliff & Daniel did an excellent job. The average full clean for an individual is 4 hours. However, they were able to complete in 2 hours. What I valued the most is their thoroughness and attention to detail. I have used the nationally recognized companies however they have not gone to this level of detail without specifically calling it out in a list. Cliff & Daniel did everything from run my dishwasher to cleaning my baseboards. What i really appreciated was the fact that when I walked in the house it smelled clean not like chemicals. Will definitely hire again.

Went great! Our hux cleaner did such a great job that we signed up for her to come monthly. Prices are extremely competitive and the service is phenomenal.

Our house is fairly large (five bedrooms and three full bathrooms) and I think that is A LOT for one person, but Kimberly, our service provider was AWESOME. She texted me immediately after the service was booked to say that she was looking forward to working with us and askes if we had any specific requests. She was very thorough and professional and definitely gave us a few extras I wasn't expecting - folded out towels, changed the sheets on our bed, started our laundry, and even folded out toilet paper like it is in hotels. The service provided was great and the process was simple and easy. We have scheduled regular cleanings with her.

So simple to schedule quality house cleaning services. It's fast and the HUX team works with you to ensure satisfaction. Prices are competitive and many times better than other services I have used. However their quality is above and beyond past experiences with others. I used them initially for a deep clean and have now started scheduled regular cleanings. Cliff & Daniel did an awesome job - cleaned areas that others typically miss. Can't say enough good things about them and HUX.

It went very well. The best part is that the reservation process is very transparent and easy. I can see the availability of all people without texting or making a ton of calls to make a reservation. Finally, arrived on time - which is very important to me. In recurring sessions with them now.

The experience was excellent. Communication was top notch.. I reached out to see if my cleaner could come earlier and i got a response right way via text letting me know they would check with the cleaner. Sure enough they could accommodate and i was provided prompt responses. The cleaning was excellent and my cleaner was very friendly and efficient

I used Hux over the weekend for a Deep Clean and LOVED it! Scheduling was so easy! You can read reviews of the cleaners (like Yelp!). Personally, I picked the cheapest person that popped up and she was AWESOME! My house smelled like Christmas! (She used a cinnamon scented floor cleaner.) I felt like I was in a hotel after she left. My towels and toilet paper had origami folds in them!

I hired Emily through Hux's online website and scheduled a time that she was available, after choosing her vs some other cleaners. Emily showed up at my house on time and was ready to clean! She did a great job making my house sparkling. I really enjoy being able to book online & also pay online. Hux sent some great text message reminders before the appointment and also afterwards to see how things went.
