"Although I did not use Blaker Restorations in the end, I am writing this because I know how hard it is to find a good contractor. I requested wood siding repair bids from seven contractors (not all from Angi). I heard back from five. Two came to the house to talk me into paint and products I didn't request. Alex Blaker was the only contractor that showed up on time and ready to quote a price on what I wanted. His sales pitch was short and to the point, yet detailed. His detail led me to ask the other contractors more questions. Which eliminated another contractor that was going to take short cuts to help keep costs lower. I spent quite a bit of money repairing the house but it left the house needing a lot of cosmetic work, and in the meantime, there were areas of the house that needed to be updated.
