Excellent service. Very courteous and professional. They asked me for model numbers of affected appliances so technician could order the parts ahead of time. Once parts were in we scheduled the technician on Saturday evening. Ali came during the time window scheduled and completed the work within an hour. He had to pull the dishwasher out and was very careful not to scratch our hardwood floor. Would definitely use them again.

My Samsung washer lock broke out of warranty. Finding people to repair Samsung's is difficult. A-Nova came out, found the problem, ordered the part and came back to fix the washer about two weeks later. The repair was quick and inexpensive. The technician was friendly, responsive and showed me the exact nature of the problem.

Repair was exactly as I expected. When I called initially, the scheduler was polite and clear and up front about pricing for their services. I was able to have someone come out the next morning. They called and let me know he was on the way (and he was even early). Technician was polite and professional and completed the repairs quickly. Microwave functioned again, although only for a few days. Both we and ARVA knew that it might be a temporary fix - sometimes it works, sometimes not. The $59 charge was applicable to a new microwave from ARVA. When the problem returned ARVA responded to our call and said they had been in contact with the manufacturer - SAMSUNG - and that SAMSUNG would repair what was a manufacturing defect. This information was not available on line - despite many complaints from purchasers of this model. It took several phone calls to different offices of SAMSUNG but they are now scheduled to come and repair the microwave. In sum, ARVA was on time, courteous, professional and, ultimately, most helpful.

I phoned Mr. Pant last night just after 9pm. He answered the phone and said he would come by in the morning between 10am and 12noon. He phoned one half hour prior to arriving. He was familiar with Samsung dryers and was able to diagnose and repair the dryer within an hour. Very happy and I would recommend.

The technician (kevin) was very courteous and patient. He had to take apart the drain assembly to diagnose the problem which he believed was drain blockage - and he was correct. Unfortunately, the main screw was stripped, and he had to be quite inventive to convert a Phillips Head Screw into a slot screw. It proved to be a messy and time consuming repair. I believe their price was very fair considering the work involved.

Got KOAM's name as an authorized repair facility from Samsung, then found them on Angie's list and messaged them that way. Response was immediate and we had everything scheduled and parts ordered within an hour or two. They came out the day after the part was available, kept us updated on arrival time and showed up within a few minutes of when they said they would. Technician (James) was polite, professional, knowledgeable and got the job done quickly and accurately. Everything works now, just as expected. Very refreshing to find an appliance repair company that knows what to do and does it right the first time, quickly and professionally. Great job.

Moonstar Appliance
Absolutely horrible!! Moonstar Appliance was assigned my American Home Shield service request. The technician arrived and looked at my washer for 5-10 minutes before assessing that a part that is no longer manufactured needed to be replaced. He went on to say that since the part is no longer manufactured, the washer itself needed to be replaced. As he left, he repeated the diagnosis suggesting what I tell AHS. Here's one problem. It's not what I, the customer, tells AHS that matters. It's what he, the technician, articulates. The washer has sediment in it. I wiped the interior 5 times followed each time by running a cycle using washing machine cleaner tablets. This was prior to creating the service request. The sediment obviously still exists because the technician's verbal diagnosis was to replace the washer. The second problem is that the technician articulated a different diagnosis to AHS than he did to us. The technician reported to AHS that the washer has mold and is functional. There was no mention of sediment nor his recommendation to replace the unit on the basis that the part is no longer available. I reached out to Moonstar multiple times to change their diagnosis to include the existence of sediment in the washer. They didn't. This has dragged out for almost 3 weeks in which we're unable to wash clothes. POINT BLANK: Moonstar Appliance got paid by AHS for this service request! Regardless of who is paying them, they obviously don't care about their customers. Stay away from Moonstar Appliance!

Mr. Peaco did an excellent job in responding to us immediately after one phone call and was very flexible since my husband and I both work. He came in the evening and looked at our fridge and a new computer master board was needed and gave us a quote. We approved and it was then ordered. Mr. Peaco had to go through he manufacturer and though he had problems with them getting it ordered he kept us abreast of the situaion every step of the way. He came over after work and inserted the board and fixed our fridge. Mr.. Peaco was excellent and accomadating and handled everything in a timely and professional manner. I love working with local businesses...They seem to take pride in what they do! I would totally recommend him and will use him in the future for any appliance issue. Thanks! Danger: We used Apple Appliance Repair (Ashburn) twice in the last year - both for a bad Samsung ice maker. They replaced it with a 'new' one year ago (for $350) and now that one has gone bad. After doing some searching, I determined they installed a replacement brand that can be purchased of about $90 as opposed to a Samsung OEM for about $150. Do not use these guys as they are not honest - you really do not know what they are replacing. [UPDATE 6/29/2020 - Angie's List] - I am currently working with the vendor to correct the issues. [UPDATE 7/8/2020 - Angie's List] - The parts discrepancy has been successfully resolved by Apple Appliance. This appears to be a parts supplier issue.

They came on July 1. Said it needed a sealer. Said they would be back on Monday or Tuesday. Paid $109 for visit. Have not heard from them since. We have called several times. Once we talk to a person who was going to check with the technician. Next we left voice mail messages. I’m giving them a 2 instead of a 1 because they did show up the first time.
