"A storm took a large amount of shingles and siding off my home. They worked with my insurance to ensure my claim was approved. Having recent issues with other contractors fulfilling their work, I was very leery to find a company to complete this work. After speaking with Robert, he understood my expectations and did a fabulous job keeping me informed of timeframes. I met with his team when it came to picking out the siding because I wanted a different look for my home. They nailed the look I wanted and I cannot say how wonderful this company is!"

Customers say: Quick response

"I could not be happier with the work done by TruMetalRoofing. Jake and the crew were very professional and great to work with. The porch needed to be removed from the house and rebuilt. They also helped me with adding a deck and walkway. The deck and walkway are enclosed with railing and gates. This 100 + year old house now looks beautiful and updated. Any work in the future will be done by this contractor!"

"They did a comprehensive inspection of the old roof externally and internally, pointing out all the problem areas, something the other contractors I tried did not do as thoroughly (attic is not completely open). The roof was completed in a day and no debris was left behind."

"John was responsive, quick, and honest. He was the only contractor that took time to look around and listen to what we wanted so his estimate was accurate. We didn’t need to be home for the work which was nice and he kept us informed if anything changed. The finished product is fantastic. I would definitely recommend them for any future work."

"It went really well. I had contacted 4 different companies in the area for estimates and Brown's was the only one that came by with a written proposal. They were punctual. It was just what one would hope for when dealing with a contractor. I was very impressed with them and the job was well done."

Attic Ventilation FAQs

Typical roofing repairs cost between $380 and $1,800 on average. However, most homeowners spend approximately $1,100 on a roofing repair project. The size of the roof, the extent of the damage, and the type of project all impact the final cost. External factors like product availability and supply chain issues may also affect the price.

Projects like repairing damaged gutters will only be around $180 to $560, whereas repairing a sagging roof will be a higher expense at $1,500 to $7,000

Roofing is a highly skilled and labor-intensive trade. Because of this, you can expect to pay an average of $2 per square foot for your roofing professional. Roofing labor costs generally make up about 60% of the overall project cost.

The cost to replace your roof is often significantly more expensive than the cost to repair it. On average, homeowners will spend between $5,890 and $12,800 to replace a roof. The size of the roof, the roof’s pitch, and the number of stories the house has will significantly affect the overall cost. You can expect to spend upwards of $46,000 for large, high-end roofs.

Yes, most states require roofers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed roofer could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Before hiring a roofing contractor to work on your project, there are a few things you will want to ask, including:

  • Do you use roofing subcontractors?

  • Do you offer a warranty?

  • Do you have any references?

  • How will you clean up after the project is complete?

  • Will you remove my old or damaged roof?
