"I apologize you feel that you treated unfairly, we only purchased the HHR companies customer list and phone number, we received minimal paperwork from HHR as they did not keep many records. Unfortunately the technicians on call over the weekend do not have access to warranty information from HHR customers, we have warranty records from our customers that we h ave serviced over the last 37 years we h ave been in business. Due to the covid-19 virus we are all dealing with supply houses are not open on the weekend where we can obtain warranty information and parts. Furnace parts are not available from Home Depot and/or Lowes. We are also limiting our hours to maintain the safety of our employees, and their families. We are still servicing customers. We are still servicing customers warranties fro HHR that were properly registered with the manufacturer and/ or warranty company. When you buy a warranty for a furnace/air conditioner the warranty is backed by the Manufacturer for the parts and an insurance company for the Labor. The heating and air conditioning company does not hold the warranty it is the manufacturer and/or insurance company, we then have to go back to the prospective companies to obtain reimbursement for the work that is completed under the warranty. Extended warranty companies do not cover additional costs for weekend calls they barely cover the cost to service warranty issues. Any HVAC company that is a dealer of the brand of your equipment can honor the warranty as long as it was properly registered that way you are not locked into any particular company for service as the warranty lies with the manufacturer and they want the date when the equipment was serviced.. Do you have any maintenance records for your equipment, filter changes, service cleanings, we have not been to your home since February 2019. We will call you to discuss having your equipment serviced. It's our utmost concern to take care of our customers and to maintain the safety of our employees at the same time."
"I apologize for your unfavorable experience with our company, I will look into this immediately. this is not how we treat our customers. Unfortunately things have been a little hectic with the pandemic outbreak, but we are currently working and some staff has been working from home to maintain proper social distancing. I would like to know what happened please call me at 614-262-1818 and ask for Nick."
The needed a new Air Conditioner as our old Air Conditioner unit was worn out and needed to be replaced. We had issues with are old Air Conditioner unit not cooling the house, the unit freezing up, and loosing freon. I called up Quality Air, I talked to Nick and Tom about options to fix existing versus go with the new Air/Conditioner unit. We're planning on staying in the house and I chose the new unit plan. We received a very good estimate and deal for the new A/C unit installation.
Quality Air was out the next morning to test the existing unit and install a new unit. Zach was on time, very professional, and performed an excellent installation and also fixed the original duct work above the furnace and made it look professional.
The Air Conditioner has been working great. The house is cool, stays cool, and the A/C unit isn't running all the time. Additionally, we have a new cool thermostat.
Thank You!
John & Charlene
