The life span of hardwood flooring mainly depends on the type of hardwood you’ve installed. While it’s possible to install carpet yourself, it’s best to hire a local carpet installer to ensure it’s done correctly and safely. Before installing carpet yourself, check whether the manufacturer’s warranty will remain intact.
