We re very happy with the service, speed of the install, and professionalism the guys showed. We didn t shop around much since we weren t interested in having too many people coming in and out of the house during the pandemic, but felt confident Steve was giving us good information and a fair price based on what we were told in the past and research we had done. I would certainly recommend Guardian to friends and family. We needed electricity and HDMI ran from a cabinet in our great room up above our fireplace so we could mount a TV.  Also needed cable and electricity ran to a wall in our master bedroom so we could mount our TV on the wall. 
Sparky showed up on a Friday afternoon, five minutes early.  Assessed the situation, and before he left, said he would look into how much parts/etc would cost, and he would call me with a bid.  Sunday night I received a text from him with a bid, we set up a time for him to come for the install on 8/22 at 9am.  
Sparky showed up at 8:59, and got to work.  I came home from lunch to outlets installed where I had asked, cable ran, everything was great.  He could not find the specific outlet cover for AC / Cable, but it will not be visible once the TV is mounted, so it is not of real concern.  
I was a little uncomfortable mounting the brackets for our TV on the walls, as the studs were located in odd places - and I didn't trust myself to mount a $1,000 60" plasma anywhere that wasn't on a small stand.  ha!  
I asked if he would mind installing the mounts if I kicked him some extra $$, and he gladly obliged to stay longer than he had originally intended.  He even went so far as to use his own screws/mounting bolts that were FAR superior to the ones that were provided in the kit.
Couldn't be happier.  Should we plan on doing any other electrical work / lighting in the future, Sparky will be our first call.

"The pressure relief valve of the boiler system of the house we recently purchased had been dripping constantly since we moved in, so we thought it best to have the whole system checked out before scheduling a repair. I purchased a seasonal tune-up from an Angie's List special offer ($99) in order to have the entire system looked over, and the owner got back to me within an hour to schedule an appointment, and was able to come out the same day. He arrived about an hour later than the scheduled appointment time, but called around the appointment time to let me know he'd be running late. After performing the tune up, he looked over the system and let me know what was in good condition, and what could use eventual repair, and advised that such tiny leaks don't usually require immediate attention and to put it off until the off-season (two of the on/off valves had tiny drips, and the automatic fill valve wasn't responding to pressure changes very well). He also corrected the boiler's thermostat, which was set to almost 210 by whomever serviced the house before we bought it-- 30 degrees hotter than it should be, which causes problems long-term. He quoted me for the dripping pressure relief valve ($90 for the service call and one hour of labor, around $100 for the valve) that had prompted the appointment, and offered to come back the next day within a 2-hour window. Ran about 15 minutes later than the 2-hour window on the second day. During the job, two of the pipes on the relief valve were corroded beyond being able to be reused (piping was installed in 1938) and he had to run and get new pipes. This stretched the job closer to two hours (including the time he was gone getting the unexpected parts), but I was still only charged for the original hour that he quoted, and the replacement pipes added $15 to the job. He was thorough, explained everything I might need to know to extend the service life of the boiler and system, and was very friendly. Overall good experience-- we plan to return to Faithful Heating for our annual tune-up in future years."

"It went great. The crew that came out was very friendly and even went the extra mile to break our dryer vent. That may sound bad, but the contractor that installed it, unbeknownst to us, installed a screen over the vent cover which trapped all the lint inside. This team took the time to evaluate the problem and rig together a sharp object to break the screen.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."
