Repair was fine (only 3 days out at this point). Bill was $900, no parts and labor breakdown despite asking for part cost upfront and asking again after the service. Googled the part (blower motor), they go for about $150. Took a little over 1 hr of labor. He arrived 1045 and was done just past noon. Likely paid $500-600/hr for labor, which is about 3-4x what it should be. 6/16 update: Got a call from them and the summary of the call was "well you agreed to the quote, didn't you?" and "i don't know where you'd see a blower motor for $150, all of ours are over $800." I checked again today on home depot and granger and they range $80-200. Full blower units can go that high, but that was not what was replaced, as the mechanic himself told me that he dusted off my existing fan.

I would recommend getting quotes from other companies and going with them. I had my AC replaced and they guaranteed the work. My system kept failing and I would have to keep calling them over every few months to service it and the charges kept pilling up. I contact another company and they were able to fix it for a fraction of the cost (about 10%) and we have not had any issues for over a year. Thielmann group seems like a bunch of inexperienced people that try to milk you for money. I complained and someone from the company called me directly and was very aggressive and unprofessional on the phone. Do yourself a favor and find a different company for your needs. I regretted going to them. My family suffered on several hot summer days and cold winter nights because things kept failing.

Went through COSTCO to originally hook up with Thielmann. They installed our furnace and air conditioner several years ago. I have had them out to the house for general maintenance throughout the passing years. I called yesterday about a problem I was having with my furnace. I didn't expect to see them until after the holiday but they came out today! Rich did a great job of explaining what he was checking and what should be done. Very nice and professional. I would highly recommend Thielmann to everyone.

Installers were polite, professional, hard workers. We are beyond satisfied with our new furnace and AC installation. We would give the Thielmann Group a 10 if possible. ??

The entire process went very well. Thielmann & Son Heating and Cooling fit us into their schedule earlier than expected when our A/C failed during the 100° plus weather. We purchased the furnace and A/C through Costco and received a nice store credit for 15% of the purchase price and other rebates. Thielmann & Son handled all the paperwork for us - Thanks, Thielmann & Son!

From the initial contact to the completion of the job everyone at Thielmann was professional and helpful. The only problem is that since the air conditioner was installed we've had cool weather!!

This is the second home we have had someone come in to clean ducts. John Thielmann & Sons was far superior. Everything was very clean. Even the heat vents! The price was also far less than what we the other company.

The process was quick, in a day, and efficient. OId furnace and AC were replaced and removed. Everything was perfectly cleaned up afterward. Nothing for me to do except stay out of the way. The new systems are quieter and seem to work better.

Everything went great, from the initial point of contact all the way to successful completion of installation. The entire team did a great job!

We searched for the best way to cool our old house for several years. We have hot water radiators, so there are no ducts to use for a forced air system. Cost of installing a traditional forced air system was approaching 25K and basement ducts would have been difficult to accommodate. Considered a high pressure system, but lack of empty space to get ducts from attic to ground floor resulted in potential for less than ideal cooling circulation and potential noise problems. Settled on a Minisplit system. Got two bids and both bidders bid a Daiken system. One bidder failed to provide enough information about units to be installed for me to make an informed decision. Thielmann and Son's Brad Smith while quoting about $500 more than his competitor provided a complete proposal. Scheduling was difficult as we were in a heat wave, but technicians from Thielmann showed up on the appointed day, on what was to be a one day install according to Mr. Smith. A full crew of 5 people worked on the first day and made good progress but weren't close to being finished. As they were leaving for the day I was told the office would call to schedule there next work day as they were moving on to another project. When the office called they agreed, after discussion, that they would keep working until the project was completed. The next day Matt and Tyler continued the install. They were meticulous in ensuring everything was installed according to the manual, that everything was on the level and square. The were very considerate of our home, keeping the workspace as clean as possible, and cleaning all debris at the end of the workday. They put in a good day's work, no long lunches, no leaving to buy odds and ends. They showed up to work and did. On the third day four people worked on completing the install and made good progress. On the fourth day Matt and Tyler worked all day and nearly until 9.00PM to finish the job. They cleaned up all debris and left our attic cleaner than they found it. The two Daikin Heads installed on the ground floor cool the whole downstairs. The unit installed in the attic with ducts to each of the rooms cools the upstairs. The unit in the attic and ducts are fully enclosed in insulation to minimize cooling or heat loss. The Daikin system is quiet, after having a forced air system that boomed on and was noticeable when stopping, the quietness of the Daiken system is a pleasant surprise. The outdoor unit is also very quiet. Thielmann and Sons were a bit loose on completion time, but the folks assigned to our install, especially Matt and Tyler, did an outstanding job. The office staff was very easy to deal with. I would hire Thielmann and Sons again with no reservations understanding the job might take longer than estimated.

I was impressed throughout the process. The guy that came out and gave us our quote was highly professional and one of the owners of the company. He helped make our decision very easy and gave us peace of mind that we made the right decision. When the installers came they were professional, courteous, took steps to keep our house clean and did a great job of explaining what they were doing. The one guy also did a great job of explaining how to work our new Wifi thermostat as well. I would absolutely recommend this company in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fabulous experience. Various cost options offered, installation was by two very courteous professionals, very clean looking system has functioned with no problems now for several months. These guys are tops!
