"The installation ended up beautiful. I had tried to get Sean and Nick to make some alterations that might have helped me to cover some defects left by the siding guys. I'm glad I decided to let them do it the right way, the intake and exhaust disappeared into the joist space and it really looks so much better than if they had accommodated my idea, both inside and out. They arrived on time to the minute, and probably would have finished a little sooner, had I not been pestering them so much. Very professional work. Cardinal needs some praise for training their installers so well. I received duplicate letters from the Building Inspection Division, and have an appointment with them tomorrow. Their "window" for when they will arrive is between 9:00am and 3:00pm (6 hours they expect me to wait). The person who took the appointment gave me a hint, If I call again after 9:30 she'll be able to give me a shorter time frame for when the inspector will show up. I got conformation of my extended"

"They did a fantastic job with the installation, and even installed a WiFi-based thermostat that increased the efficiency of the fan and dehumidification capabilities of the new system. We did call around to get quotes/bids and pretty much all the shops in town wanted to charge about the same so we feel the price was very reasonable."

"Tech arrived on time, was very helpful with Install. However, I was told he would install 2 Smoke Alarms and only one was installed. But overall Tech did a professional job."

"I cannot say enough great things about Jamie and the team at Wisconsin Generators LLC. From the very first conversation, Jamie was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. He took the time to walk me through all my options, answered every question thoroughly, and made sure I felt confident in the decision we were making. The installation process was seamless. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and treated our property with respect. Their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right was obvious from start to finish. Everything was clean, organized, and completed exactly as promised. What really sets Jamie apart is his integrity and customer-first approach. There was no pressure just honest recommendations and clear communication. If you’re considering a standby generator, I highly recommend Jamie and Wisconsin Generators LLC. Reliable service, expert installation, and true peace of mind. Five stars all The way!!"

Video surveillance monitoring: $40–$65 per month

Yes, you should get a quote or an estimate from an electrician. Most electricians offer free estimates or quotes. When getting quotes, do your research and verify each electrician’s license. Get quotes from three different electricians to compare. If the prices or items listed appear different on the quotes, ask the electrician to clarify. Learning as much as you can about the electrical work you want done will help you get the most accurate estimate.
Yes, a home security system can be worth it for your peace of mind alone, but it can also save you up to 20% on your home insurance. The insurance savings will help defray the initial setup costs and subscription costs over time. Locations with higher crime rates also make home security systems a valuable investment, but it ultimately depends on your personal preferences and asset values.
Yes, most states require HVAC technicians to be certified, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed HVAC technician could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
