I decided to call Vogel, which I'd used in the past for other vehicles, and they immediately put me at ease. They made me feel important, and taken care of right from the start. After asking me a few questions, Gene - the service person I worked with - told me over the phone that he was concerned about my safety in my present vehicle, because the collision with the truck had crushed my headlight. "We'll get you a loaner, so that I can look at that headlight. Whatever else is wrong with your car, we can at least fix up that headlight for now." This was even before I agreed to give them my business. I drove to Vogel, and they gave me the keys to a brand new Chevy Impala (far nicer than my own car). They said I could use it for the next few days while they took a good look at my car and developed an estimate for the repairs. It didn't matter that I'd need to drive their car to work and back (120 mile round trip) every day. Just return it with the same amount of gas. It took them almost a week to get me the estimate (it's a busy place). I didn't mind because I was having fun driving that Impala. When I got my insurance company's approval (Vogel's estimate was about $300 lower than my dealer's), Vogel couldn't fit me in to actually do the repairs on my car for another three weeks. This meant I had to drive my bashed in vehicle for a little longer. But what Vogel had done while examining my car was make it safe and presentable. They fixed the headlight and punched out the worst of the dents. They had also washed off all the mud and salt from Wisconsin's horrible winter highways. They loaned me another nice Impala while they did the repairs, which cost about $3,500. When I got my little Elantra back, I was thrilled. It was gorgeous. Like new. It looked better than it had before the accident. Both the outside and inside (which they must have vacuumed) looked immaculate. They gave me a little handout for taking care of the new paint job. Don't go through any car washes for a month or so, etc. I have fallen in love with my car all over again, and I owe this to Vogel's great work. They sure know what they are doing when it comes to auto body work. They also know how to provide great customer service. They made me feel valuable. My dealer, a much larger shop, could take a few lessons from this locally owned shop in Kiel. I found them when I was looking for someone to work on my '92 Cadillac Allante. They do dealer equivalent work at lower prices. In this case my wife called right after her little accident and I had her drive it over to Brookfield auto - if it could not have been driven I would have called for Brookfield to come tow it (free service). I called my insurance company (Safco ? a good insurance company) and they went out to appraise the car. They worked with the manager at the shop to determine the damage and decided not to totals the car (a near thing). Brookfield auto represented my well in this conversation - rejecting a request to find used parts for some of the work. I appreciated this as used parts would have seriously compromised the quality of the repair. Once the repair plan was established Brookfield Auto proceeded to use their body shop and larger service shop (all located within 5 miles) to do the work. I was kept informed of the progress and I visited the car once. I was able to talk with the crew doing the work and the owner. I was very pleased with the experience. I marked them down on Quality and Punctuality because I am a stickler for grading. In my business excellence is a hard thing to achieve. One item had to be brought back for additional work (alarm system) and the original date was missed due to a parts availability problem. Having said all this - please be aware that Brookfield Auto does indeed stand out as a good alternative for service on your car. BUT - this is very much buyers beware market. Even the good shops, like Brookfield Auto, are moving a lot of vehicles in and out every day. There is not a lot of time for in depth analysis. Mistakes can be made because assumptions are left unchallenged. Anyone taking a car in anywhere for work really needs to force a detailed discussion on options and expected out comes."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/wi/brookfield/brookfield-auto-care-reviews-234808.htm"},"position":9},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Duff Painting Co","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"WI","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Frank A."},"reviewBody":"As a doctor and professor, I appreciate a thoughtful and timely approach. He then proposed a list of specific services, a time-line for completion, and a very, very, reasonable price. Upon agreement, Mike arrived (several days were needed) on time, every time, and provided the most professional (and clean) services I've ever experienced. Staff arrived when promised and completed the repair competently and professionally. Cleaned up the work area and removed exterior door. I'll use W7 Construction Services again in the future.
these guys are the best. Took care of the entire problem, that involved many internal and external repairs and mold removal. They also helped me to get insurance payments.

FAQs for appliance repair projects in Van Dyne, WI
If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.
Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:
Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)
The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time
Loud and/or unusual noises
Possible causes include:
A damaged door
Faulty condenser coil
Malfunctioning control board
Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.
If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.
Your dryer may need repairs if:
It isn’t turning on
It’s not releasing enough heat
The drum doesn’t spin
Common repairs include:
A damaged or worn-out belt or
Damaged or shorted electrical wiring
A control board malfunction
Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.
If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.
The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:
Refrigerator: $200–$300
Freezer: $90–$500
Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500
Microwave: $50–$400
Dishwasher: $160–$300
Garbage disposal: $70–$250
Washing machine: $50–$450
Dryer: $100–$400
Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.
It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
