I contacted the company on last Sunday because my garage door wouldn’t open. The technician (Tanner) that arrived just a few hours later could not have been more helpful, professional or informative. Great overall experience. I might not be nearly as happy when I receive the bill, so I wanted to do this excellent review of Tanner before hand.

Amer. Overhead Door has been providing service for my residential needs for 37 years. Very few visits due to the high quality of product and service provided. Never a hard upsell.

I had two garage doors installed last May (May, 2024) and they've stood up very well. The communication between the seller and me was top notch. When the initial quote was delivered, I needed things to be changed and they did it without frustration. They made sure they were going to install exactly what I wanted. During the install, the installer was warm and welcoming. They even took the old doors away, too! I would highly recommend this company!

Prompt and professional service

Came as scheduled and repaired the broken cable. Did have one issue though as somehow the door adjustments were moved and I had to readjust so that the door closed completely.

replaced garage door on a rental. credit card over phone, all taken care of. very reasonable, very easy.

They came and did not have the right size spring. They ordered the correct springs and returned in in a few days. In the meantime they had done something so that the door was working again. We only talked on the phone so I can not give a better rating. I was not there to obseve their work.

I think they need to tell people what is included in the job. My garage door opener was put in on a Friday afternoon, when i went out later that night I discoveredd the light was not working in it. Monday I called them back and was told they don't come with lite bulbs, but if I had one here they would have put one in.

The repair guy came out the same day (important for home security as the door would not close) and performed enough repair on the door to get it to open and close - which is all we could afford at this time anyway. Also he helped my wife with the trouble she was having with her garage door opener. The repair person was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely use American Overhead Door Inc. Again. I was also very satisfied with the capability and service offered by Service Magic and will continue to use you - and recommend you - in the future.

They did a top job. Clean up was excellent. Our new door looks terrific! They came exactly at the time they said they would an worked in a timely matter!
