For the initial estimate, after asking a few questions about our needs and taking some measurements, Jerry was able to sketch out a design and walk us through his estimate within about a half hour. The estimate shared a We took a few days to think and then had him back to sign the contract. Since our garage is located very prominently on our city lot, we wanted to add some touches to add to its character and to match our house. Looking through the gallery on their site and working with Jerry - we were able to add some nice feature. These included a small window, shake-style shingles and a brick beltline. We also were interested in having skylights installed; which they also installed for us, just asking that we purchase them on our own and have them ready for the builders. "We hired MasterCat because I have been having more and more problems with allergies, and a mold inspection found two kinds of mold that I'm allergic to. We also have five pets, I build furniture, and we have been remodeling our house, so I knew that the house was full of dust, dirt, and pet hair in addition to the mold.
Donny came out and checked out the house, using my mold inspection as a starting point. While in the basement he saw a spot on the ceiling that he thought might be mold and took an additional sample to make sure he knew about all of our issues. Then he gave me a proposal for cleaning the house, which included removing the mold, cleaning the ducts, resealing the grout in our shower, and cleaning all of the surfaces in the house where mold might grow. I was a bit skeptical when he told me that this would include all of my tools and the wood in my shop, but I shouldn't have been. They did an amazing job! The house is so clean that, if I didn't know better, I would think they threw out everything and bought new things to replace the old. They followed up with advice on how to keep mold out of our showers.
The remediation took three days, and I had to board our pets and a hotel for my husband and me, which took a lot of coordination, so I was worried when I found out that their crew's truck had broken down on the way to our house the first day. I assumed that they were going to have to reschedule, which would have cost me a lot of money. But instead they pulled a crew away from another job and they started the same morning. When that crew started, they realized that it was going to be a bigger job than they estimated, so they brought in additional people to help out and finished on schedule.
All in all, an excellent job from real professionals, and I'm very glad I chose them to do this work.

"It went wonderfully.  This was in the MBR, and we were anticipating spending a few nights sleeping in the other room.  That never happened. The house was opened, window removed, 2X6 studs reframed, window installed - all in the same day.  The entire project took about a week.  Don Lindner is very exacting and professional, and does a great job at drywalling and everything.  He cleaned up after himself every day, setting things aside and folding drop cloths and putting them out of the way so the room would be useable.

When we went to other window companies, they wanted to just do a replacement vinyl window.  Fast and profitable for them.  They are in and out in a day, and you still have the problem.  Each of them saw the same thing I did - the frame was rotting on this window where the caulking had failed.  Yet, the answer was always the same - we jam some replacement sashes in there, use aluiminum to hide the rot, and everything should be OK.   Don Lindner took a look and recommended a way to address the whole problem.

I think his pricing is very reasonable, he sticks to his estimaes and does really good quality work.  We will use him again when our patio door is replaced.
