Premier North Insulation

Premier North did a great job adding insulation to my attic. Their price was fair, and they got the job done quickly. They also lowered the final price after finding that some of the expected work was done, showed me and told me about that change right away. One star subtracted for no photos that the insulation was up to the correct depth across the attic.

Although we used them several years back, we were very satisfied with everything! The crew and David were great to work with! We had updated some of the insulation in our home and it made a big difference in our energy costs!

Had attic insulation added and sealed attic, not sure how much it helped, heating bill still went up during the winter, work was did good, now we have proper level of insulation in attic.may have Dave come back in the fall to check house for others to keep house warm during the winter months

We had our attic reinsulated from the original 1979 levels along with upgraded ventilation of the attic. Results remain to be determined. Just going into the cold weather season. I would have appreciated before and after photos because we’re not able to view easily.

David came out to provide a quote, the visit was informative and professional. The quote was timely and price was extremely reasonable. Stay far away! I reached out to Premier North after finding them on Angie's List (prior to the name change to Angi) back in February of 2021 as I was experiencing an issue with moisture collecting where the walls meet the ceiling in several rooms of the house. I suspected that the soffit vents might be clogged but wanted an expert to check. The owner returned a call to me quickly and even came out same day to take a look. He provided a detailed estimate within days and we went back and forth on the actual work to be done. His crew was to seal the area near the soffits and reconnect some exhaust fans that weren't connected properly. The day of the work, the crew arrived and had no instructions as to what they were actually supposed to do. I had to find an old version of the quote in my email, print it out and provide it to them. There was no communication from the owner during or after the job. Fast-forward to the next cold stretch and the problem is back. I hired a home inspector to take a look at the attic and he confirmed that the job was not done well. The crew left a seal gun in the attic along with a container of the spray foam. The exhaust fans were not connected properly, either. I reached the owner and explained the situation to him. He was apologetic and promised to return a call to me to schedule a return visit. That has not happened and now when I call, I just get voicemail. Three messages later, still no return call. I am now trying to find a different contractor to do the job.

EXCELLENT - work done in a professional, efficient manner, on time and knowledgeable. Explained what they were doing and why. They did things over and above of work required . Cleaned up after each day's work was done. Would hire Premiere again without a doubt.

Had a problem with the initial installation, so I spoke to the owner, David. He responded quickly and took immediate steps to send someone over to fix the problem completely. Jonathan was very conscientious and took extra care to make sure I was pleased. I really appreciated their professionalism and great customer service. Very easy to work with.

They did a nice job overall. They had to remove siding outside and blow in the insulation. They also did have to insulate one wall on the inside of the house as it was bricked outside. They drilled holes in the walls to blow in the insulation. They then filled the holes and have them ready for me to prime and paint. They moved the furniture when needed.

The windows did need caulking. The first window they used white caulk instead of clear. They did kinda a messy job , but then completed the job with clear caulk. It was completed nicely.

Everything went great and I am already saving on my heating bill.
