"S & S Painting & Restoration did a great job. Once we were scheduled They contacted us as to the start date & came out to pressure wash our roof, which they completed in one day.. when the weather was right, they came out to apply the primer & 2 top coats to our roof. They also completed it in one day. We have a large farmhouse with a 2 story metal roof with a few different pitches & levels of roof. They were very professional & meticulous in the spraying of the paint. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a painting company. We have another couple of buildings that we will be scheduling for next spring. We are very satisfied with their work!"

"I contacted Jeff to find out about installing baseboard trim and putting in a fireproof door between the garage & kitchen. When sanding drywall mud, you’re going to create a very fine dust that may contain silica. Silica dust contains crystalline silica, which can cause long-term illnesses for people who inhale it in significant quantities. Wear a mask while sanding drywall. Then dampen a drywall sponge to wipe the dust off the drywall, helping to reduce the amount of dust that may become airborne.

You can put certain types of plaster over other types, but doing so isn't always the best idea. For example, putting a coat of gypsum over lime plaster is possible, but doing so will limit the lime plaster's breathability and potentially affect its performance.

Since cement plaster tends to leave a textured surface, no matter how much you smooth it, some people prefer to use gypsum plaster as a topcoat over cement plaster, creating a smoother surface.

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation.
