John took a good look around our roof and attic vents and alerted us to a very small gap at the base of our chimney. Since he would still be in the neighborhood the following day, John offered to come back and repair the gap. My father agreed and John returned as promised. Knowing that we adored these flying squirrels and wanted no harm to come to them, he made noise to coax them out, double checked EVERYONE had evacuated and then made the needed repair. When my father pulled out his checkbook to pay for this additional work, John refused any compensation.
