Tom and his crew did a stunning job transforming our great room. Ceilings and walls – in places in and around cabinets, wood stove, decorative cabinet insets and shelves – are all now neat, crisp, and bright. They were able to correct a myriad of dings and pops (some pretty nasty!) to the point that I really cannot see any of those flaws anymore, far exceeding my expectations. Plus, Tom’s expertise really helped me to sort out exactly the color and finish I was shooting for. The work was all done in professional manner, very considerate of our home and our time; and all at a great price! Highly recommended.

Tom Lulinski’s guys did a great professional job. We had him paint most of the interior of our approximately 4,000+ square foot house as part of a big home remodeling project. Tom gave us a very competitive bid that detailed all the work he would do for us. He was very accommodating scheduling around the general contractor and subcontractors. We are really happy with the finished results which showed his painters’ real attention to detail. They didn’t just come in and start painting, they made sure all surfaces were prepared and where needed, repaired. Things like nail pops and settling cracks were fixed so there wouldn’t be further issues. We are very happy to recommend Thomas Lulinski Home Finishing for painting and will definitely use his services for any future painting projects.

I cannot recommend Tom & his team highly enough! They basically repainted our entire house (a LOT of trim, cabinets, walls with wallpaper, etc) and did a phenomenal job all around. I work from home, so I was sharing a space with Miles and John almost every day - they were always friendly and professional. Tom was very on top of everything and worked within our always changing renovation and travel dates. High quality work - our house looks AMAZING. Tom was incredibly responsive via email and stopped by regularly to check in on the progress. The team was here at 7:30 sharp every day!

I'm trying to figure out a way to give the highest praise I can without sounding like a paid endorsement :) Tom and crew were all very professional, yet approachable. Tom checked in frequently via email to let me know how the job was proceeding and I also talked to him in person. He answered all questions almost immediately and was true to his word on scheduling, quality and price. His crew was courteous and hard-working. They cleaned up daily and the quality of work was exceptional. Seriously, best experience in home repairs I've ever had. Stop looking elsewhere, this is your guy.

Tom showed up when he said he would and provided us with a detailed estimate for the interior work we wanted him to do. On the day the painting started, Tom arrived with his painter Gedi and made sure he went to every room with Gedi to review exactly what work was to be done. Gedi was a delight to work with! He is by far the best, most meticulous and detailed painter we have ever had. Both Tom and Gedi were a delight to work with. We highly recommend Tom and his company!

WOW! First, I'm fussy when contractors don't show up on time. Tom and Crew showed up on time (actually I saw one of his crew parked outside way before the meet deadline on day one). Considering the job, I was expecting it to take a lot longer based on previous quotes. 4 days!!! Not only is the quality great but the crew cleaned up each night so I can have a life. Today, last day, got home to a whole new house. Plus the clean up was better than I left it. Floors vacuumed and counters wiped off. I would recommend Tom again. I'm very pleased.

We are so pleased with Tom and his crew. We basically had every large room repainted as well as a small office and bathroom. They repaired all the drywall work, taped and sanded where needed, and repaired a ceiling that was in rough shape. Our home looks so fresh and new and we couldn't be happier. Tom, who is clearly knowledgeable, gave me good advice on color choices and answered my many questions with enthusiasm, interest, and patience. They also responded immediately to a couple of small concerns when the job was done. It was clear to me that this company truly cares about the client! We will hire them in the future whenever there is a need and would recommend them to anyone needing an excellent home finishing company.

Tom gave us a quote we compared to other highly rated area painters. He won. He helped us choose colors which we *really* needed help with! We were able to get it done the very next week. The three guys that were here for two days were unfailingly polite, considerate AND did a great job cleaning up. They even painted a couple of VERY high walls, one on a stairway. We are very, very pleased with this work, would definitely hire again and highly recommend!

I was very impressed on the job they did. The blending of the texture of the wall repairs was very impressive! They even painted the wall/ceiling line white where the previous paint job had gone on to the ceiling. Tom made sure they got in and did the job before we moved giving me time to be able to go in and clean the condo thoroughly after the painting was done. I have had some bad experiences with painters before but Tom and his crew are amazing!

We didn't have ready access to the house we were moving into, because the owners hadn't moved out yet. Tom Lulinski was able to put together an estimate based on the room measurements (12 x 13, 10 x 12, and 10 x 9) and the 3D virtual tour on the real estate website, which included nail hole patching and other preparation, as well as two coats of paint and the paint itself. We were also informed that sometimes a third coat would be necessary (because we were painting over darker colors), and he might need a little time for that beyond the first day. We scheduled two days for the job, several weeks in advance. When the day came, the crew was on time, and finished everything but a needed third coat on two of the rooms on the first day, On the second day they finished by the middle of the day, and the additional charge for the additional coats was less than 10% of the original estimate. We're very happy with the results.

Very well for the most part. There was one hiccup when one of the painters was supposed to do some work on a Saturday morning and didn't show up. But, overall they did really good! We listed it and sold it. I know the new paint job helped. Also after the inspection I removed some art work from the walls and botched up the 3-p's (pull, putty, paint). The living room color and lighting made it very difficult to blend in. I called Tom and he sent one of his painters (Dakota) over the next day and he did a fantastic job painting over my crummy work. Thank you Tom!!

"I appreciate the review. It was a pleasure to work with this client. The job went very well. The guys were punctual, and the client was very pleased with the results. He sent the following email once we were through. "Just wanted to say they did a good job! Miles and Dakota are both first rate painters. I have been around the block, both helping/watching painters over the many years of home ownership/remodeling. These guys know how to cut in the corners and trim the edges! Give them a pat on the back from me at the very least!" That being said, he asked for a touch up. It was scheduled at 8:30 AM the next day on a Saturday morning. There was some confusion and my painter did not show up to his house that morning. The client called my office instead of my mobile so I did not know about it for at least a couple of hours when I checked my office messages. I called and emailed immediately once I heard his message. It was truly embarrassing that we were not there on time. I did give him money off the invoice to try and make up for some of the frustration. We rescheduled the touch up for the following Monday. As the client stated, he invited us back for another small project as he was selling his home."

TL Home Finishing was fantastic! If his business was a restaurant, he’d be a Michelin 3-Stor (Exceptional, beyond excellent, and worth a special trip). Tom was prompt for his estimate of the job (essentially, a full house), fair in the estimate he offered (within a day), and offered me a balance between personal choice of colors (and even brands!) and offering some suggestions without being pushy. He offer to do any part of the job or the whole job at once, and he accepted my request to do one-half of the job now, and one-half in several weeks. He accepted 50% down on the day the work began, with the balance paid after everything was finished and cleaned up (by his crew). The painters he contracted with (Aleks and Gedi) were also prompt and arrived exactly when they said they would. They were polite, courteous, knowledgeable, exceptionally hard-working and persistent, took few breaks, acted professionally (without being stuffy or standoffish), had quick, ready smiles, and even asked permission to use the microwave to heat up their lunch. They took 30 minutes to re-arrange my living room after the first day (ceiling painting) to temporarily move some furniture back so I could watch TV in the LR and use the kitchen over the weekend. They asked politely to store some materials in the house (organized and stored out of the way), but also said they’d remove all of that if I wanted them to do so. They took care to cover all furniture and appliances with plastic and covered all the floors with painters’ drop cloths before beginning their work. They found and expertly repaired some drywall gouges I’d identified (and found two that I hadn’t noticed!). They did the repairs in a thoughtful and knowledgeable way, and they closed doors when I was working at home so the noise would be kept to a minimum for me. They did not blast music, but worked diligently and spoke to each other in what seemed to be a congenial way. They were respectful of all hardware they had to remove and replaced it exactly as it was before. After all was said and done, they cleaned up for 45 minutes by dusting, wiping, and vacuuming everything. I am excited by the prospect of seeing them back to finish the upstairs part of the job. In sum: WORTH EVERY PENNY (AND THEN SOME!). I’d hire TL Home Finishing again in a New York second. No doubts. No second thoughts.

Tom and Jerome did an amazing job. Jerome worked non-stop for the time it took to finish the job. They showed up on time and worked until the job was perfect. I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend this company. This was the best money I have ever spent on my house in all the years I have owned it. After I move I will use them again for any painting job I have. They went above and beyond.

I was fortunate to have found such a great repair person/painter. Though I had to wait for the work to be done (they are terrifically busy), it was so worth the wait. I was given options for wall repair and was told of corresponding expense for those repairs. The young gentleman who did the work was on time each day, put in a full day's work, and at job's end cleaned the rooms very well. There was a minor issue with a very small area in one room where paint had started to peel, and Thomas assured me it would be taken care of and not to worry. He attended to the area the next working day and it looks absolutely wonderful. Great company with which to work!

It went very well. Tom & his team were very professional and thorough. We had our first floor painted which included vaulted ceilings, trim work, textured walls and curved openings. These elements create a more challenging job, but was handled wonderfully with great attention to detail. They want you to be happy with the final product. So refreshing!
