I spent time cleaning my house, speaking with him, writing him an email with all the details of my project, calling references, and waiting months for an answer. "Adam gave me the best estimate on work in a bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ceilings and exterior; not renovations, but refreshing things. He and Pat did outstanding work, with a nice eye for detail. Friendly, very focused on communicating with me, making sure thing were going well, and understood that I wanted to keep costs down. When I say Adam had the best estimate, I mean that a well known carpentry business gave me quote of $30,000 and a well-known builder/renovator quoted me $20,000 (but at least said I get it done far cheaper with a good handyman, which is what I found) and the total cost with Adam came in just under $10,000). A friend vouched for them before I hired them, and I'll do the same if you want to work with them."
