"After spending a good amount with a different contractor to remodel our main floor, we had to settle with the fact that a basement remodel was likely not in our short term plans. However, after taking a meeting with Matrix, we were pleasantly surprised that a substantial remodel was not out of the question after all. We were honestly so focused on the fact that something could get done that we didn’t nit pick on the finishes and some of the details, but wow were we impressed by the quality and workmanship of the end product. The project managers (we had Ben) do everything that’s needed to keep on schedule, but rest assured this does not mean that any shortcuts of any kind are taken. The sub-contractors used are simply amazing, and seem motivated to do whatever is needed to keep Matrix and the customers happy. Overall, we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out!"

"I had used Kitchen Savers before to do countertops and sink and was very happy with them, so I did not really consider anyone else for my current remodel at a new place. Savers Kitchen did a much more extensive remodel this time. Kevin spent much time understanding what I wanted and giving suggestions. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. In fact, the cabinet door sample he had with him was exactly what I chose. This remodel included resurfacing cabinets, raising a cabinet, building a new cabinet, quartz countertops, sink and faucet, installing stove hood, backsplash, and 2 large pantry doors. Dave P. did measuring and everything was exactly right. Dave B. did most of the work and did an excellent job. The cabinets are beautiful and I was very impressed with the work he did on the backsplash. He knew how to do everything. The job took a little over 2 weeks. I was out of a sink for 1 day only. They discovered a crack in the new sink, which they told me and got a new one. They had to wait to install pantry doors and a little finish work until I had the kitchen floor installed, which was done by someone else. They promptly came back and finished up. "The good - Job was eventually completed and we are pleased with the outcome. I was impressed that most of the work was done by one guy when some tasks could clearly be done a lot easier with 2 people. They did stick to the quoted price. The bad - and maybe should be 2 stars for these. We hired them at the end of March 2024 with the project quoted to be completed by the middle of July 2024. It did not get completed until Jan 2025 and this is completely unacceptable. We got a call from the electricians that they used stating that he was not returning their calls and that they did not make the payment. Eventually by the time the project was completed they did pay for the initial install. I chose to pay the electricians myself for the completion portion and did not go through CWE for that because they lied to me about contacting the election to finish the project. They also rarely returned my calls. His worker would show up without notice that he was coming out."
