The stairs were not done as well and the one room was not cleaned adequately. The team took a great deal of time doing the two rugs and then hurried to finish the stairs and the other rooms. I offer a first time customer discount of 10% but I will offer 15% off for first time customers referred by Angies List. I've lived in the Huntsville area most all my life, so I know the area very well. I will never use a subcontractor as I am very picky about making sure that if my name and company is associated with something, it will be the best experience my customer has ever had, and using sub contractors won't ensure that, so I prefer to do all the work myself. Lastly, I should point out that I am a former offensive lineman for the University of Southern Mississippi and was Brett Favre's center his freshman year at Southern. I went on to play for Tom Landry in his last year, but gave up pro football early on to pursue my passion of fixing computers. If I didn't have bills to pay, I would do this for free because I love it! "Jeff did a great job in cleaning our air duct and drier vents. First, he explains what he’s doing to clean the entire house. He pays attention to every detail in cleaning each vents and returns. Jeff showed us pictures of before and after on areas where there’s so much dirt accumulated over time. Can’t believe our drier vent was filled up with so much lents. "We just hired him for a furnace checkup. We thought the service was one price, but he charged us more to replace the filter because ours was the larger filter then standard. He had to reschedule our first appointment, but that wasn't a problem for us."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
