"The team removed my wallpaper, sand primer, then painted my walls in two colors. They did a fabulous job, much bigger than I expected. They were totally professional, put up all the fixtures that had to be taken down, and cleaned up everything perfectly. I am a totally satisfied customer!"

"Joe was great. Had to patch up numerous openings in our kitchen ceiling from light removal and replacement during a kitchen renovation. If you haven't done drywall patching in the past, unfortunately, it is not a one day process. Joe came out numerous times to make sure the job was done right and did not rush. Even after paying Joe our final payment and thinking the job was complete we noticed a couple of spots that needed some attention once in the natural daylight the next day. Joe was right out to take care of and made perfect. Does very good work, answers phone calls, and is attentive to details. Would rehire."

"John did an outstanding job. I had him come in to paint a 20 foot-tall foyer and stairway, a difficult job for most, but he finished in just a few hours. He showed up on time, performed outstanding work and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. His price was VERY competitve, and he went above-and-beyond in every aspect of his work. I will definitely be calling John again for all my painting needs."

"Best experience ever! From the estimate, to scheduling during the Polar Vortex, it all was a breeze! It looks so much better than I imagined. Already thinking what else I want painted! I would recommend them without hesitation. All completed within the timeframe they mentioned. No hidden costs. I kept waiting for the “it’s too good to be true” moment - but it was awesome!"

"Jorge was great to work with. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns. He worked quickly and efficiently, performing all of the work of the project with little need for oversight. Any follow-up items were completed promptly. The project was completed in a timely manner, within budget, and for a great price. My house looks years younger!"

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

Once again, contact with moisture is the culprit here, though water-resistant varieties of wallpaper are less likely to become wet and develop mold. Using a high-quality exhaust fan or dehumidifier and leaving the doors or windows cracked after bathing will keep this issue at bay.

Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.

If you’re installing new wallpaper and have leftover glue, you can remove unused wallpaper paste from the bucket or pan it’s in by letting it dry. If it’s an oil-based paste, seal it in a plastic bag and throw it in the garbage. Otherwise, toss the leftover wallpaper paste in the trash. Although it’s water-soluble, don’t rinse unused wallpaper paste down the sink because it could dry in the pipes and cause a blockage.

If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If that’s the aesthetic you want, then proceed. But if you want a smoother surface, you should either strip off the existing paint and wallpaper or hang a layer of liner paper before proceeding.

As long as the surface you’re putting the tile on is properly prepped, peel-and-stick backsplashes should stay on and last anywhere from 3 to 5 years. The best way to ensure the tile stays on is to sand down and clean the wall before applying your design.
