"I cannot say enough good things about Rich and his crew at Custom Craft Environmental. After having our sump get overwhelmed by 7+ inches of rain, we were lost. Made several calls to "national" water clean up companies with no reason. Rich was at our house 2 hrs after we called and his crew was there the next morning. They were efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, punctual. Price was good and work was excellent. We highly, highly recommend."

"Executive Sewer Cleaning Company exceeded expectations! From start to finish, the experience was professional, efficient, and stress-free. Daniel, the owner, was extremely kind and took the time to clearly explain how everything would work, which made the whole process smooth and easy to understand. The quality of the work was excellent, completed quickly without cutting corners, and the price was very reasonable for the level of service provided. It?s rare to find a company that combines such professionalism with genuine care for its customers. Highly recommend!"

"We were very satisfied with them. We chose them because they are local, as we live in Milwaukie and they gave us the best bid. They were prompt and very efficient. You couldn't tell that they had been here when they left, as they really cleaned up well after themselves. They were excellent and if need be, then we would use their services in the future too."

"We contacted PLM and learned that in addition to loss management they also do remodeling painting etc.  We were at wits end prior to arrival of PLM.  We relaxed after

Guys were prompt, courteous and professional.  They worked around our schedule and around out two friendly dogs supervising the job.  They estimated about a week to complete the work and finished in a timely manner despite some last minute additions to the job

PLM point out additional areas of the previous job that were deficient and offered suggestions on how to rectify.   When the job was finished the house looked fantastic.  The quality of work far exceed our expectations!   PLM will be the first people we contact if we have additional work.

We heartily recommend them!"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

As a preventative measure, hydro jetting should be done every one to two years. However, the best practice is to hydro jet your sewer line once per year. The ideal frequency depends on several factors, including the age and condition of your pipes, how prone they are to clogging, how often the sewer line is used, and the type of waste disposed of in the system. If you frequently experience clogs or are unsure, it's best to ask a licensed plumber for a recommendation specific to your plumbing system.

There are several common signs that your main sewer line may be clogged. Key indicators include multiple fixtures in your home draining slowly, gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilets, and water backing up into showers, sinks, or toilets. You might also notice water backing up from the plumbing system's drain cleanout, water in your basement drain, or unexplained wet patches on your lawn. Foul odors, such as the smell of raw sewage or rotten eggs, are another common symptom. The most reliable way to confirm a main sewer line clog is to hire a professional plumber to perform a camera inspection.

If the toilet is overflowing but there’s no clog, that’s a sign that the issue is deeper in the system, and plunging may not help. A blockage in your home’s plumbing, the plumbing vent, or even city sewer lines can cause toilets to overflow. The issue could also be the toilet itself if the filler float isn’t set to the correct height or if parts are damaged or worn out.

If you don’t have a sewer cleanout, clearing out clogs can be extremely difficult. You would need to try to clear the clog from sink drains, but it can be harder to reach the clog all the way in the drain line. A sewer cleanout makes it much faster and easier for pros to clear clogs from your main sewer line.

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.
