The big difference was Dave. He was knowledgeable and professional. The roof replacement took place approximately 4-5 weeks later as expected. Materials arrived promptly as did the crew. The crew worked diligently and kept our yard clean each day. Dave arrived promptly for the final inspection and spent some time going over the job and providing my husband and I clear and complete information. I would use Dave and his team again for roofing or other exterior jobs. They were fabulous

Capital Siding was competitive but my decision was based on more then that. The communication from quoting the job to completion of the work was wonderful. - Capital Siding Windows & RoofingWe called Jeff as we had seen his great reviews on Angieslist and even though we are 1.5 hours away from him in Eau Claire, WI he came without a word of complaint. He stopped by our house and laid out all of our options and didn't pressure us one bit.(something unusual and welcome). He told us we were in no danger with our roof the way it was and to take our time in deciding(something no other person had told us). We were so WOW'd by his demeanor, friendliness, and knowledge that we knew we had the guy to do our job. They came on site in the spring did an outstanding job and were very quick and efficient, they cleaned up our yard afterwards and paid to have our satellite dish reset as the crew had a problem getting it back together. I can't say enough good things about this company, if you value honesty and integrity and a job well done... do NOT look any further. When we had others came out it was always a push to get the job done now and some of the guys even tried to get us to sign with them without a quote... "Work performed as bid, timely and appears to be quality. Was not prepared for initial meeting of nearly 3 hours. Didn't realize it was a sales commission based bid and was going to be a sales pitch. Feel they are a good company who do quality work so no issue there. Just set aside 2-3 hours for first meeting and know they are pricey (worth it tho).

"A guy came out the next day to perform an estimate after I contacted them. It was a pretty standard presentation and work-up. He made two claims that weren't quite accurate. The upstairs windows did not quite qualify for Energy Star certification in WI, although he claimed that they did. I could have paid an extra $20 each for ones that qualified, but this would have made little difference in actual performance. He didn't explain this at the time. He also charged me for custom vinyl interior trim work in the bathroom that I requested, acting like it was almost routine. When the team of three installers arrived, they were about an hour early . They worked very quickly. They did professional-looking work and were careful not to damage the house. They knew nothing about the Energy Star issue or the custom trim. They said they had never performed that kind of work before, but took the charge off of my bill and helped me remove the old wood trim, so I could complete the job myself. They said the estimator who misinformed me had recently been hired and already let go for such misconduct. A piece of trim fell off of the foundation exterior about an hour after they left. Since they had the owner contact me about the other issues, I mentioned it to him and he came out and inspected their work and had them return promptly to fix it and touch up a few other minor issues. He offered me a discount on future gutter work that I was interested in as a concession. My Window World experience was acceptable over-all. I avoided them for years due to their extremely deceptive advertising, but eventually contacted them based on personal recommendations from neighbors and co-workers. Their $189 windows are not suitable for heated areas, yet they pair that reference with Energy Star references on all of their advertising. Their pricing structure is pretty standard for custom replacement windows; there are no flat rates as they imply.

"Zach Royer and his crew were very professional and prompt. They did an excellent job of minimizing dust and disruption from the work and cleaning up after. I was pleased with the communication from letting me know when they could fit my work into the schedule, to a call in the morning letting me know they were on the way, to communication throughout the day. I do have some aspects of the job (buried drain line ) which will need to be completed in the spring. once the ground has thawed. But I am very pleased with the work to date. The work was not cheap but worth the quality.
