I have the ability to do anything you need in the lawn services area including planting new trees, removing old ones, edging, brick pathways, mowing and spring and fall cleanup. We even can help you out in the winter with snowplowing! We have even done specialty installations of things like dog yard preparation and fencing. Cut your lawn a bit shorter before the winter, typically between 2 and 2½ inches, depending on the variety of grass. On average, the best height to cut grass typically falls between 2 and 3 inches throughout the year. Aim for the shorter side of this range when you mow for the last time of the year to avoid common winter lawn diseases and moisture issues.

Buffalo grass starts to turn brown when encountering drought during the normal growing season. You can water the grass when you begin to notice some browning to prevent it from going dormant. Additionally, buffalo grass turns brown after the first freeze of late autumn or early winter, and this is a natural time for the grass to go dormant.
