"Rich came to give us a quote the same day we called. He told us what items could be cleaned and saved and what had to be disposed of. He took the time and explained everything thoroughly. From the time Blue Hills Roofing came to the house for the consultation to the time they drove away after completing the roof and gutters everyone from the company was professional. Unlike other companies, Steve explained in great detail the purpose of every aspect of the roofing process (was important because my wife really needed to understand the value of what we were going to spend). "The roofers were extremely professional and nice. They found that the previous roofers did not put flashing around the skylights. All of the wood around them was rotten. They had to take all six skylights out to replace the wood. They did it with minimal dust inside. They took the time to put extra ice and snow barriers around the skylights. "Service was mediocre. The staff was inexperienced, did not set screws properly, did not set up downspouts or drain chutes properly. I had them out three times to correct these problems, and the leaf guard system during heavy rains still allows water to overflow.
