The cement over the drain is very uneven with the existing flooring in much of the area. No way could carpet be used after this. Anyone contemplating this same kind of work should specify floor must be level and ask to see actual material covering the walls, not just pictures to avoid surprises. Clearly much of my disappointment would have been avoided if I had been more fastidious in my specifications and investigations."

Company ended up doing significant tuckpointing work that was not identified when they bid on the work, but they performed the additional work without added charge. I also had a few minor "punch list items" after I inspected the work prior to the final payment. They gladly came out that weekend and took care of the identified items. They also custom matched the mortar to my older home's original mortar. Easy to work with and very diligent. Anyone contemplating this work should do their own survey ahead of time and make sure that both parties agree upon the major work to be done and in addition to include in the bid for no added charge any additional miscellaneous tuckpointing that is identified as needed during the project. There will normally be some unidentified spots or small areas."
