"Jaspe (?) and his crew arrived right on time and immediately began the job.  They hand dug the trench to proper depth (12" to 18").  This resulted in filling the trench with lots of water.  They installed the rock and proper sized drain pipe with dirt straining fabric.  They, also, hooked up the shop's rain down spouts to the drain pipe.  They were very careful when working in the lawn (swamp) area.  When job was completed (one day) they cleaned the whole area, hauled away the dug up dirt/gravel and wash off the concrete pad.  The area looks better now than it did before they started.  I highly recommend Wu Construction for any drainage problems.  This is the 2nd time they have done work for us.  Job well done.

"Great technician who fixed our bathroom sink pipes same day as the office called me, Tyler called when he was on his way (right in the window the office stated!) and worked with us to solve the issue within our budget. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again."

"I have a 1906 cottage in N Seattle, with an old porous foundation. Water came into the basement for the first time in 20 years. Another contractor bid the job at $12,000 after 3 site visits and almost a month. Andy came out to the house the same day I talked to him, and estimated the same job at half that price. He followed up with questions, asked about making another visit, came out again and saw that the drainpipe was disconnected at the top of the area being flooded. 75% of the roof's water was pooling against the house. He found a ladder and fixed it and isn't charging me a dime. So, no French drain, no Delta drain, no foundation treatment, no 50' of trenching, no $$$. Andy was timely, reliable, did what he said, and knows his stuff. He was a great communicator, and I feel so so lucky to have found him."

"Called another rooter company to clean a drain in a rental unit. My husband was coordinating with the Property Manager and Rooter company. Rooter company was unsupervised with the tenant. After $1200, my husband finally caught onto the "upcharging game" they were playing and told them to stop. They then dumped a bucket of grease in the tenant's yard, which was very unprofessional. My husband called Zoom Drain, they came out and solved the problem for a flat fee and they were super professional. We will be using Zoom Drain for all our rental properties."

"I had an amazing experience with the crew at Brewer Sewer! The office was quick in getting me scheduled for a free estimate where the project manager came out and gave us an estimate and took the time to explain what was going on. The crew that came out for repair were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone with a sewer issue."

"Work was done quickly and professionally. Were very careful to collect and/or cleanup any water drips. Had to cut wall board in laundry room to repair hose bib. Removed as small a piece as possible and replaced when finished."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Most commercial liquid drain cleaners work in 15 to 30 minutes. Consult the label on the bottle for additional instructions or time suggestions to prevent damage to your drainpipes. Alternative solutions such as baking soda, salt, white vinegar, and/or boiling water can take longer since they are less harsh than liquid drain cleaners.

Regrading your yard can often fix drainage problems. You can also try aerating the lawn to encourage better drainage or install a new drainage system to prevent water from pooling in certain areas.

You should inspect and clean your French drain at least once per year to keep it in good working order. Regular maintenance can help identify clogs, buildup, and damage before they become bigger problems, which increases the lifespan of your drain. The frequency with which a drain clogs can depend on factors like the amount of debris, the quality of the installation, and the type of filter used. If your drain accumulates a lot of sediment, it may require more frequent cleaning. It's also a good practice to check the access and exit points after heavy storms. If you notice reduced drainage or any signs of a clog, clean the drain as soon as possible.

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.

There are several common signs that your main sewer line may be clogged. Key indicators include multiple fixtures in your home draining slowly, gurgling sounds coming from drains or toilets, and water backing up into showers, sinks, or toilets. You might also notice water backing up from the plumbing system's drain cleanout, water in your basement drain, or unexplained wet patches on your lawn. Foul odors, such as the smell of raw sewage or rotten eggs, are another common symptom. The most reliable way to confirm a main sewer line clog is to hire a professional plumber to perform a camera inspection.
