"Thanks! We appreciate your faith in Sewer Friendly to do the job right and use us again!"
As soon as we had committed to the project, they immediately pulled the necessary permit for doing side sewer work from Seattle Public Utilities, and scheduled a timely inspection for midday Monday so there was no hold-up in completing the project while waiting for an inspection.
Near the end of the first day, they ran a scope down the 6" main while the line was open to check its condition and found a substantial root wad. Though it was the weekend, they were able to arrange with ActionJackson to come out Monday morning, hydrojet out the line, and get us a before/after video recording of the 6" line while everything was still opened up.
Ben, Nate, and Tony were all extremely hard and focused workers. They were all respectful of us, our neighbors, our landscaping, and our property. They were able to walk their small Kubota backhoe into the side yard from the alley. They used shoring boards to lay down across the stone walkway and then across the grass to eliminate any track damage. They had to work with the backhoe tucked into a very tight space, but they never even bumped the deck (or our glass and aluminum railing!) with the boom or bucket.
Cleanup was exceptional -- even down to digging dirt by hand out of the grass and plantings along the sides where the dirt had run over the edge of the big tarps they put down. Things were smoothed and leveled -- they even offered to seed in grass, but we have some additional work we want to do in that part of the yard first, so we will take that on.
We were overall extremely happy with the company, staff, and crews. Explanations were straightforward, both Mike and the crews listened to what we had to say and concerns that we had and responded accordingly. Contract and billing from Julie and Michelle in the office were straightforward, accurate, and prompt. And they also explained to us clearly how they could replace the 6" line out to the street in the future with minimal disturbance to our landscaping and at lower than expected cost, if that should become necessary.
We will definitely recommend Mike and SewerFriendly to anyone in need of sewer repair. That's their business, and they focus on it and do it well!
"Thank you for the review. We strive to do the best for each customer and it is nice to hear that we have achieved that goal. Please feel free to call anytime or refer us to friends, family and neighbors. Thank you again for the business."
