I would absolutely not recommend Eco Electric Company. It took them nearly a month just to install a furnace — a job that should’ve been done in a few days. Their troubleshooting skills are seriously lacking, and I paid the price for it. Initially, they charged me $4,500 just to “level” the old furnace, claiming that would fix the issue. It didn’t. After wasting all that time and money, they came back and told me the furnace actually needed to be replaced — and asked for another $5,500 to do it. In total, I ended up paying $10,000 just to replace one furnace, all because they couldn’t properly diagnose the problem from the start. Completely unprofessional and frustrating experience. Stay far away.

The gentlemen from Eco Electric were incredible. They came in early, were able to fix the issues I had quickly and even went above and beyond to ensure I wasn't inconvenienced. Most importantly, they were genuine in everything they said and did. I didn't feel like a company was trying to get over on me but rather that they truly wanted to make sure everything I needed was done to my satisfaction.

I just wanted to say that this was my first experience with a trades company in my home and I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away at the professionalism and attention to detail from Arron and Matt. They showed me how much I was overpaying by having a tank water heater and they were able to remove the tank and install a tankless SAME DAY!! I will never use another company other than Eco.

Project started great and everyone was very friendly. Toward the end of the project I found things that were damaged in my home and a number of items that Exo Electric failed to complete. As soon as I mentioned these items, their attitudes shifted instantly and then weren’t so friendly. I hired them to remove all of the dangerous knob and tube wiring, replace the panel inside, swap all switches & outlets and replace the box and mast outside. The knob and tube wiring is still in my house, they installed light switches crooked, did not swap every outlet like they said they would, left a major outlet in the kitchen dead-no power to that outlet still to this day, installed that outside box cooked and not flush to the house, the mast is touching my new roof done a few weeks ago and bending shingles, the box inside is not installed properly and does not latch shut. They said they were going to bring a label maker to make the box nice but instead wrote everything by hand and not clearly, quite sloppy actually. They attempted to charge me an exorbitant amount amount for additional work to remedy these issues and I said no. They went on to say that they were not coming back and that the job is marked as complete. This. Reach of contract on their part has caused multiple issues with other projects including the roof, siding and gutters. Customer service from this company was horrendous and they are anything but professional. The GM Cory Hessiltine was extremely unprofessional on our 1 call, using profanity and not allowing me to speak. He went on a rant and essentially “told me how it is”. This company is run by sleazy sleazy sales people, I was clearly just a number to this company and they do not care about helping their customers, their only concern is getting paid- not doing what is right. Don’t make the same mistake that I did in hiring these amateurs.

Eco arrived on time, but after an hour and 300 dollars I was left with a bigger mess than we started out with. When the representative told me what the problem was I asked what the resolution was and asked for a quotation. I was given a verbal quote for 1800 dollars and questioned it as it seemed really high for a few hours work. After less than three minute the price was revised to 800 dollars. The representative explain he had no more time for me that day and left after presenting a bill for services performed that hour for 300 dollars. I never received a hard quote via email or in the mail. After further work the problem I discovered the real problem and handled it in about an hour with less than 20 dollars of materials. Eco does not have the experience they claim. Their fees are out of line with industry standards. This was the second time I tried Eco and it is the last time.

I bought one of the Angie's List deals for an hour of work. I had 2 issues, one immediate, and one a question/item I had been wanting to hire somebody to advise on for awhile. Before I purchased the deal, I called ahead to see whether they could advise on what was needed to set up my electrical outlet/system to operate a European appliance I had and whether they had someone with that experience. The person who scheduled said that should be fine, but to just show them when they got there. My other issue was a sparking outlet. So, the 2 guys that came didn't know (one in training I think, and one more experienced) They were very nice about everything, but they also couldn't tell me why the outlet sparked and shocked me when I plugged things in sometimes, but did test the outlet in question and said it was fine and it seemed I had enough power to operate my electronics. It has happened again since so it was never resolved. Maybe that one wasn't their fault or it's just not something you can fix it if doesn't always happen. But, re: the European voltage, they didn't know, had no experience in that, and had to do some research when they got back to the office. They called back and basically said no, it couldn't be done or something like that but didn't give a clear answer on why/what could be done or what the cost would be. My neighbor (not an electrician) researched it and figured out that I needed a step-up transformer and what voltage. I got one and the appliance works fine. Not ideal; I still want to know whether I can get the outlet changed, but funny that my neighbor at least gave me that solution, which they didn't. I did not have any confidence in their abilities and would not use this company again.

The $200 we paid for an electrical inspection seemed too high for what turned out to be mainly an opportunity for them to make bids on doing work. On the other hand, maybe this was necessary. The bids they sent were quick and thorough, which is not always easy to get from contractors.

Both Ryan and Zach from Eco electric are very professional and thorough. Seemed like Ryan had the lead and Zach was an apprentice. They did the job well and within time. I had constant reminders and automated messages reminding when the appointment was, day of appointment Ryan called up in time informing of a delay. The recessed lights never got wired because the wiring was not done properly and they were wanting to charge me more to get the job done. Pros: Punctual, Professional, Cleaned up after themselves, Did the job perfectly, Straight forward and unwilling to cut corners / break codes (appreciate that!) Cons: Horribly over priced. More than 3 times what my own estimate was. I know no one had a gun to my head to continue with them but we had a deadline and getting these last few things was important. But in normal situations I will look elsewhere.

They were on time, efficient and no mess. Moved furniture when necessary, cleaned up and moved back. Made a suggestion or two that were different than we originally planned and their suggestion made more sense and looked better. All finished in about 5 hours.

Extremely professional, prompt and courteous which is sorely needed in the industry. However, prices were exorbitant and the "quick fix" done on the exhaust fan issue did not properly address the problem.

I called electrician after electrician trying to find one willing to install a 300 lbs. chandelier. Most simply told me it was not something they could do. I found one willing to do it, but scheduled me 30 days out, only to cancel the day of because they were not prepared. I decided to search further for another electrician, and found Eco Electric. One of the best decisions I ever made... Eco Electric had a technician out within days to survey the job. Connor (our tech) was immediately able determine what needed to be done, and strategically planned hanging our very large chandelier. Through the whole job, Eco Electric kept me updated through every step of the way. I never had to do any follow up, and I received notifications by phone when techs were about to arrive. Connor also showed a genuine concern with the job. It wasn't just his sense of determination and confidence: but he showed true care for our house and the chandelier. I felt at every step of the way I was in good hands.

Excellent. The team at Eco were incredible. In the busy world we live in schedule is important to me. They showed up when they said they were going to and finished on time and under budget. When things came up that were unforeseen (as they always do in the construction world ) I was notified immediately with what the issue was and what options I had and then asked how I wanted to proceed. It was a great experience overall. Couldn't be more pleased with the team I got.
