During the 1960's, chemical weed and pest control began to grow, expanding the family business. In the 1080's, after four successful decades, Bill Senske handed over the reins to his youngest son, Chris. Chris expanded the family business into new territories including Yakima and Kennewick, Washington. Today, the company headquarters are located in Kennewick, Washington and helps supports all branch functions and growth. Today, Senske has developed quality and competent staff in an array of service areas who can offer residential and commercial services including: lawn care, tree care, weed control, grounds maintenance, pest control, irrigation services, Christmas Decor holiday Lighting, and snow and ice removal. Today, the company continues to strive for superior customer service in which the company was founded upon. "Terrible. The guy was using a broken apparatus and the liquid mix for the injections was pouring onto the ground. I suspect that, because of loosing so much of it on the grounds, the trees did not receive the dosage required. Previous 2 years, not a problem and the bugs were gone. These trees are shade to my deck. Can't get anywhere near them now and Senske will not respond to re-treating the trees. I have emailed and I have called, countless time. No response to emails and calls are always the same story - "It will take 24-48 hours to get a response". Well, it's been lots of those! NOT ANYMORE! TWO and 1/2 YEARS and they're are a train wreck. Faulty equipment, failed services (that you have PAID FOR on your AUTOPAYMENT PLAN) and you can't get a response, at all, over WEEKS. My message to Senske: Maybe y'all should stop the endless office parties and start taking care of your customers. Try answering the phones or the email system that you recommend "Many of our Clients prefer to send an email for a for a Quick Answer On The Go". You never respond to anything, actually. SENSKE SERVICES has no idea what one office is, or any area based service, is doing -- 'SENSKE MOTTO: Let's give ZERO customer response and outlook while we F-around and party while good customers become our former customers.' Looks like a good place to start a new landscape company. Somebody will."

  • Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.

  • Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.

Even though having a lawn irrigation system to water your lawn is efficient, you do not want to run it daily. It’s best to run your system two to three times a week. The length of time to run your system varies on factors like wind, temperature, and the variety of your grass, but 10 to 20 minutes each time is generally preferred. If you water too frequently, you’ll drown your grass and plants.

The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose.
