Through unique technology, experience and compassion, we serve our customers while creating and maintaining a reputation of excellence. We service: Pierce County, King County, Thurston County, and Kitsap County.

"there is a quick summary at the bottom if you want to skip the details. I have received service from this company twice. The first time I had a leak in a bathtub. They removed the drain with a Dremel since it was stuck, then they were about to leave to go to home depot to get plumber's putty, but I had some so they were able to get the part quickly replaced. Maybe this is a bit of a fluke, but that seems like a fairly basic thing to have when going to fix this kind of leak. Overall it was a positive interaction so I didn't think much of it. I recently bought a bidet on amazon. It arrived and I put it in. The problem was that I couldn't connect the toilet to the wall since the hose was a different size then the wall piece. The directions wanted me to remove the valve stem from the wall and replace it with their own. I called A Advanced because when it comes to plumbing, i would rather leave that to the professionals. I had called it a hose bibb because I just didn't know what it was called. someone called me back and asked me to explain in better detail what i needed done. I explained that the "hose bibb" needed to be replaced for me to connect my toilet and that I had the part to do it. from that conversation i received an estimate for $280.87. I was at work that day so couldn't be there, but my wife was there. The plumber that arrived worked for a while on the toilet, then went to home depot to find parts, then came back to the house and worked on it longer, then finally decided that it couldn't be done. We were charged $768.14 for nothing to get fixed. I called them to figure out what happened, I called near closing so they were not able to get a hold of anyone and it waited until the next week for me to talk to someone. I found out that the plumber never received the bag of parts, it was about 2 feet away in the sink. the same plumber came out and looked at it again, and went to home depot again. I was at work and managed to contact him while he was at home depot. I was told that the problem was with the thread depth and that there was no way to install this Chinese toilet without special ordering a part, and if I wanted him to keep working on it he was going to have to charge me more money. I declined. (Its not a Chinese toilet, the company that makes them is out of California.) At this point I was beyond frustrated. I left work early, drove home, went to home depot with the parts I needed to connect, and found a perfect fit within about 10 minutes of looking. I bought a Hex Bushing 3/4 in MIP x 1/2 in FIP for $7.75. I attached it to the included hose and then attached that to the valve stem. and everything worked. Home depot made it easy to find since both connectors were the same type. I just needed to find the appropriate brass adapter. the threads on the toilet hose are identical to the threads on a US water heater. I called A Advanced back and presented my evidence. I was asked what it would take to make this right. I asked for some of my money back. I can understand getting charged for the plumber going out to my house without a full understanding of what is going on. but at no point did he ever tell my wife that he was going way over the estimate. this is the exact response i got back. "I spoke with my COO and my foreman due to the amount of time we spent on the project we are unable to provide any sort of refund. I understand that is not something you want to hear but that is our decision." _____________________________________________ to summarize: - every time this company has come out to my house they have needed to go to Home Depot during the visit. - I was charged nearly 3 times the estimate with no work done and no warning that the bill was piling up. - the plumber was never able to install the toilet despite multiple trips to home depot - I installed the toilet with a $7 adapter i found at home depot in about 10 minutes. (I am not a plumber) - The company chose to not refund me anything If a plumbing company needs to go to home depot every time they do a house call, that is a company that is not prepared at best, and a scam company at worst."

"Anyvision and Chase were excellent! Their bid was competitive, and their contract was clear and straightforward. What began as a simple shower pan repair turned into a full master bath remodel and a new roof due to water damage. Having dealt with poor contractors for 45 years, we feared the worst, but Chase handled everything seamlessly. He assessed the damage, adjusted the plan, and had the skilled crew to execute both repairs and high-quality finishes. The team was punctual, professional, and kept our home clean. Chase’s tile specialists did exceptional work—no metal edges, just beautifully mitered finishes. With the remodel being unexpected, we had to make quick decisions, but Anyvision’s designer and CAD renderings helped us visualize everything. Chase was onsite daily, keeping us informed with updates, photos, and videos. Challenges arose, but Chase managed them like a pro—offering smart design input, controlling costs, and maintaining quality. This was the best contractor experience we’ve had in the PNW. Anyvision is the real deal, and we’d hire them again in a heartbeat. Their communication, expertise, and customer-first approach set them apart"

"We bought a gem of an old, historic house this year that needed a number of major and minor updates – from getting structural support in the basement and leveling floors, to a new coat of paint inside and out, and lots of work in between. LARRY PALMER and his crew took on the job in its entirety, and we are the happiest and most satisfied clients. They delivered awe-inspiring results. From the very beginning to the very end of the multiple-months project Larry was honest and looking out for our best interest. The price negotiations were straightforward and fair, and he and his crew generously took care of matters that came up as the project moved along. In bigger projects (such as ours was), problems often surface as walls or floors are opened up, and in all instances, Larry was the chief problem solver. Larry’s goal is to have a happy client who can thoroughly enjoy the fruits of his and his crew’s labor, and he will do what he can to achieve that goal. This means that he stays calm and kind and makes things happen without stressing the client, and we greatly appreciated this care. Just as other clients have stated in their reviews, Larry does not cut corners. Unlike other contractors, Larry has proven to have trustworthy ethics that translate into excellent outcomes for the client. Larry’s moral compass would not let him deliver something to a client that might look good but won’t last. The work Larry and his master craftsman and crew deliver will make you happy for years to come. Larry and his crew delivered impeccable work and absolutely exquisite outcomes on a project that, in its scope, could only be described as a house-metamorphosis: power washing the house, painting the outside as well as the deck and porch in a stunning wheel of colors, texturing the inside walls before painting them, creating rooms out of previously unusable space, transforming a bathroom into an oasis, adding beautiful alder wood doors, leveling the subfloors seven times (until it was perfect) and installing new floors, and so many other things that made a significant impact. The gem of a house is now a sparkling diamond. The best part is that the original character of the house never got lost. Everything looks and feels like it belongs right where it is. It was truly a metamorphosis – from caterpillar to butterfly. If you’re looking to put your home improvement project into capable and trustworthy hands, Larry Palmer of DP PALMER PAINTING AND RESTORATION is your man for the job."

Excel General Contractor is a full service home remodeling and construction contractor. We offer a high level of customer service while maintaining fair pricing. Our team is small enough that you get individualized attention but big enough to get your project done effectively and efficiently. We do all projects from small repairs and renovations up to designing and building you a complete new custom home.

"Nate allowed me to order my bathtub myself, which was nice. Lowe's failing to deliver when promised, was not. This delayed the start, and although it did take longer than I expected, everything came out great. They did not charge me extra after the water damage was exposed, which was a relief. One of the other estimates I got from a general contractor was for 3x as much, AND they planned to add on after the wall was opened. The bathroom specialists wanted 150% of what we paid, and I think we ended up with better results."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

There’s no definitive answer regarding whether equipping your kitchen island with a stove or sink is better. The right option depends on each homeowner's lifestyle, cooking style, and kitchen layout. If you cook with guests over, having a stove that faces outward can facilitate socialization while you prepare dinner. On the other hand, if you use a lot of produce, having your sink by your prep area makes it easier to clean veggies while cooking. A sink also makes cleanup easier by allowing you to wipe down your prep area and place your dirty dishes in the sink.

Many homeowners stress about cleaning before an emergency plumber arrives, but you’re far better off doing the following while you wait for your plumber to get to your home:

  • Shut the water off at your water main if you have a leak or a burst pipe

  • Avoid using any water fixtures in your home, including appliances

  • Clear a path to the problem area so that it’s easily accessible

  • Consider shutting your breaker if you’re concerned that the leak may affect your electrical system

A well-installed wall-mounted faucet shouldn’t splash. That’s why it’s worth hiring someone with experience installing wall-mounted faucets. Beyond the installation, you should carefully choose the right faucet and sink combination. If your sink splashes after installation, you can try installing an aerator, which lowers the amount of water coming out of the faucet.

You’ll only need to replace your sink’s pipes when you start to notice signs of wear like corrosion or leaking. Most pipes last somewhere between 20 and 100 years, depending on the material. Copper and cast iron can last up to 100 years. Galvanized steel and brass generally have a 50-year lifespan. PVC pipes last 25 to 40 years.

Different plumbing problems can cause your P-trap to leak. The biggest problems are loose nuts and misaligned pipes. Over time, your P-trap can leak due to the rush of water moving through the pipes, which in turn loosens the nuts and causes the pipes to fall out of alignment. Other problems include worn rubber O-rings and cracked pipes.
