Best contractors near Orchards, WA

"We struggled to find a contractor to take on this somewhat unique project. I guess because it is a "wine cellar" some folks probably saw dollar figures when quoting, so we got some pretty high estimates. It was sure refreshing when Stan's bid came in just about exactly where we expected it. From day one we were impressed. Stan listened to our requirements carefully and drew up a detailed bid for the project at a cost we felt was reasonable and fair. He started the project very promptly (very much appreciated), and worked diligently throughout, finishing everything up almost two weeks ahead of schedule! Amazing attention to detail, Stan took the extra steps we might not of thought of (such as protective covering over studs where electrical or plumbing was present, for example). Our one change order was handled quickly and effectively, and Stan was always on site personally (if not doing the work directly himself). This project also involved installation of a specialize wine cellar cooling unit (split system - think HVAC). These are complicated units, and I doubt very much he had any experience with them previously. He and his crew pulled it off perfectly. We were very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to hire again. Thanks Stan!"

"It went really well! Tyler was GREAT! He did a good job and we're pleased. We'd definitely use "Mr. Handyman" again and we would request Tyler if he were available."

"I found Millennium Specialties on Angi and I am so grateful. His crew was honest and open about the work and knew what they were doing right from the jump. I was able to bounce ideas of him and got straight answers. They were quick and efficient with the work. I had requested to have the exterior trim repaired and exterior painted. They got the repairs done in just a couple of days and the painting only took 2 days. Very professional. I would recommend them to everyone."

"Great customer service, great work for a fair price, doesn't get much better than that. The contractor, Val P. is a really good guy, and treated my small home and me, the same as he would a palace. I recommend this business, and if I need further assistance, will use them again."

"It was great. They showed up and got it done. They did everything that we talked about."

"Julian's team included Kasey did great work. They had to come in and take over a job by another contractor that went completely awry. They got in there and explained why they were doing what they were doing so I got an education along the way. They worked with me, were thoughtful, communicated well with me every step of the way, and completed the job satisfactorily. After having such a horrible experience with a previous contractor they were a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend."

"Had our vinyl plank flooring installed by Happy builds LLC I was really impressed with the quality of work and they were very knowledgeable in helping choose the right product for our home. The attention to detail was top-notch & they provided all the material and labor for the job. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality work. Keep up the great work guys!"

"It took us time to find a contractor. We got over Six quotes only two contractors actually sent us a bid. Ben was very responsive. He sent us the quote within a week from the visit. We were very satisfied with the process. We were always in the know. We have done renovations In the past with contractors and we were always not pleased with not knowing the schedule. We finally found someone we can trust and will definitely be using him again. Thank you again Ben it was a pleasure meeting you and working with you."

"It was basically repainting our kitchen cabinets. The painters were excellent and the job was done well. They protected the surrounding area completely and were very nice about working with us and completing our requests. It went very well. We would hire again in the future. We would recommend this company."

"In February 2025, I hired Steve Gardner, Gardner Custom Construction LLC to complete the renovation of a house in Camas, Washington. The house was built in 1926. The previous contractor defaulted in August 2024. The defaulted contractor left the house in a semi-demolished state…a better word is a “mess”…..floors were removed and catwalks were left in their place, posts holes were dug in the unfinished basement and left unfilled, etc. In June 2025, Steve Gardner and crew completed all of the renovation in accordance with my scope of work and permit. They did an excellent job. Steve is customer oriented when changes are requested. I will give him credit for taking on this difficult job. His bid for completing the renovation was fair. He did not “nickel and dime” me in the renovation. I would hire him again for another renovation. I highly recommend him for your next contractor. Thank you Steve and crew…you gave the house another 99 years of life."
