"We had a 30 yr. old working furnace, a 20 year old working hot water heater, and wanted to replace them and add either a heat pump or air conditioner (before retirement). We got 5 different estimates with varying scenarios (80% or 95% efficiency furnace, what size water heater, and ac or heat pump or neither). We got a WIDE range of prices! Then we learned that one of our neighbors is 'in the business' - NW Premiere Heating & Air, LLC, MIke Souza, owner. So, one more estimate. . . OMG!!! Mike has 15 years experience in the Heating/AC business. We wanted to support local businesses, his price was the lowest, and he could do the installation of the new furnace, water heater and heat pump within a week! (Other companies were booked out several months!) Mike was great at educating us on the different options, answered lots of questions, and thoroughly explained the differences between air conditioners and heat pumps. The whole installation was started and completed in one day! His installers were experienced, detail-oriented, and cleaned up everything when they finished. The gas and electric inspectors signed off, and we have a new furnace, new water heater and . . . a heat pump!!! (AC, finally!!!) I have called Mike several times with questions, and he is always ready to answer. Today my question was, does the heat pump draw in outside air, and should I turn off the AC to avoid sucking in SMOKE??? He explained how the system works, and no, it does not bring in the outside air. Thanks, Mike!!!"

"Critical: Professionalism ***DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY CHARGE 300/HR FOR LABOR*** Called this electrical company to come out and fix some minor electrical work(5 or 6 GFCI outlets and two grounding rods) We’re selling our house and really needed the work done before we listed the house. An electrician came out for and spent about 20 minutes. We received an estimate later in our email that had one line that stated ‘Specialized electrical repair $5500.00.’ When my husband called “Alex” to find out what exactly did specialized electric repair’ mean, Alex said that the labor was going to be $300/hr. Seriously? We really needed this work done. We paid the ridiculous fee of $275 for absolutely nothing and I feel like I was ripped off. Maybe tell the customer upfront that your hourly rate is $300/hr. before you waste their time. (Oh and when we asked for an itemized statement since were paying $275 Alex told us no and to pay or he’d put a lien in the house. To Alex: :The details along with the rate you charge for your electrician is all that we asked you to add to your report and you REFUSED and demanded payment. We only paid you because you THREATENED to put a lien on our property."
