I called up Affordable Restoration and they helped me through the whole process. They also referred me to a fantastic public adjuster who took care of the whole claim for me. I was impressed on how knowledgeable the Affordable Restoration crew was on not only the flood aspect but also on how to work best with my insurance company. They took the time to educate me throughout the whole process on water, mold, mitigation, restoration and the claim process. After my initial meeting with them, I felt like I was an expert on these topics. This gave me a lot of confidence in working with my insurance claim. It was a breath of fresh air to deal with a contractor that actually cares about you and takes the time to listen and address all of your concerns. Their crews did a great job. There were several errors in there billing charging for things like PPE that wasn?t used as well as inflating the amount of space of drywall that was removed and charging us for moving appliances when we did that ourselves. I try to get them to correct their bill. They acted like that?s what they negotiated with insurance but yet it was all based on miss information stating the full kitchen when it was just 1/3. We did not have them build back because if they can?t stay within reason if an estimate we can not trust them further!"
