"Excellent, very well constructed French drain and re designed planting area using stone block, and cleared the top layer of clay loam and spread the right topsoil and rototilled sand to allow proper drainage prior to laying the the Fescue sod. They got all of this done in two days, friendly, professional. Kurt and his family were wonderful and I highly recommend them for your excavation, landscaping, drainage management projects. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful front yard that we can enjoy for years to come."

"We had some trees cut down and we needed the area graded and ready for gravel so we could have additional parking. It looks so awesome and we have so much more parking now! Well worth it, would definitely hire him again."

Small jobs welcome

"Very good people to work with I am an old guy and get cranky with poor service. To start with they answer, their phone and the young lady you deal with is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jeff gets back to you very quickly showed up as scheduled we went over the project and they got back to me with an estimate in a very timely manner. Came time to do the job and they were on time and on task very professional every step of the way they were fun to work with , decent people with a good amount of skills and capabilities. I would use them again in a second matter fact I am going to use them again for a little project and probably other things in the future highly recommend them."

"Tanner did a great job clearing our land of blackberries and piling all the downed trees up, leveling the soil and making our property so much more accessible and usable! He was very nice and polite and understood exactly what we wanted. We will hire him again for the next phase of our project!"

"Daniel and his crew were very professional and hard working. After a storm they showed up, took down a couple of trees that were damaged and dangerous. They even came back with a stump grinder on another trip. I’m even excited they are coming back up from Texas to take another’70 tree out for me!"

Land Clearing Services questions, answered by experts

For safer land surveying in Longview, notify your surveyor about pets and children before work begins. Request high-visibility flags or cones on property corners and keep kids and pets inside or in fenced areas during the project. Mark off survey zones with temporary fencing if possible, and double-check that all tools and markers are removed after work. Clearly communicate boundaries to your family to avoid accidental entry.

Helpful?

Consider scheduling land surveying in Longview if you notice unclear property lines, plan to install fences or additions, or experience drainage issues after heavy rain. If you’re buying, selling, or subdividing land, a current boundary survey is essential. The best time for surveying is late summer, when ground conditions are stable and surveyors can access property corners more easily.

Helpful?

In Longview, the durability of land surveying relies on using weather-resistant survey markers that withstand local rainfall and clay soils. Accurate property line documentation, regular maintenance of visible markers, and scheduling surveys during dry periods help prevent shifting. Choosing a surveyor familiar with Longview’s terrain and up-to-date technology ensures your boundary survey remains reliable and reduces future property line disputes.

Helpful?

In Longview, covering survey markers with mulch or soil, building fences without checking property corners, or planting dense shrubs near boundary lines can obscure or disturb markers. Frequent mowing or landscaping without awareness of marker locations may also cause accidental removal. To preserve your survey, regularly inspect and clear around markers, and remind anyone working on your property about their importance.

Helpful?

Before land surveying in Longview, gather previous boundary surveys, title records, and property descriptions. Walk your property to identify and clear overgrown areas around suspected survey markers. Mark underground utilities by calling before digging, and inform neighbors if work is near shared property lines. Confirm your surveyor’s familiarity with Longview’s local soil and terrain, and discuss your project goals in detail to prevent misunderstandings.
