"I had a clogged drain that no amount of plunging could get rid of. I called several companies. I initially went with Mr Rooter because they were the only ones that could make it out that same day. Glad I did. The technician was very pleasant and he took his time to explain all the steps he was doing and let me watch as he put a camera down the drain and showed me on the screen where the clog was and all the build-up in the pipes. He then brought in a high pressure washer and I watched on the screen as he cleaned the pipes all the way down to where it joined up with the main sewer line. I initally thought the estimate was a little high, but not after watching all that they (his supervisor also showed up after an hour to help out) did."

"Ty was a pro from day one. He carefully analyzed the entire situation and formulated a solution almost as quickly as he was explaining his end goal. Not only was his answer the best I had been proposed for a new water line, it was actually only slightly higher than just getting the new line to the house, period. Ty also allowed for bypassing any old iron piping, giving me a path directly inside the house. "This was an emergency. The hose bib had split open inside the wall of our house, the water had been turned off at the curb, and we were desperate to flush toilets, wash our hands, and make coffee, among other things. They were able to move their schedule around and come by to fix the problem quickly. The repairman was very efficient and effective, and we had water back on within a few hours. The repair was not cheap, but that was, in part, because it involved cutting a hole in the drywall in my closet and purchasing/installing a plate over it when the repair was done. "At first they weren't responsive, likely because our plumbing is not built very well. But then Steve came on a Monday and basically he and I figured out what to do. I had already researched and learned what needed to be done but Steve is a very seasoned, experienced plumber and wow, he's got some great connections with people. He got all the authorities to come really fast to give their approval and he hired an outstanding company too bore for the new main water line.  They were Johnny on the spot about their work and did a great job and were well experienced. I asked Steves son Josh to put a junction box between the work that was being done and the old pipes we had to connect to and Steve didn't know I asked but he was totally on top of it and had exactly what I was thinking was needed right there in his truck when he arrived a few minutes later! He was thinking and acting on our behalf for the future. I guess it was code but he certainly had our best interests at heart! A real great guy. Easy to talk to as well. Very personable. Well, our main concern was that there would be no new leaks in the existing plumbing line we were attaching to. We turned on the water at the street. Turned off all the faucets etc at the house and the little black triangle on the water meter that spins when water goes thru was completely stopped! We couldn't have been happier about that! We're happy campers! Steve pulled it off! Josh did his part well too! All was well except they didn't seem to have a very good system for handling my credit card but they came up with an alright solution.

"In an effort to remediate a water potability issue with the house we were selling, I contacted Culligan based on their reputation and Angie's List. Their sales consultant Doug not only returned my call promptly, but drove 40 miles from his office to our house in rush hour traffic late on a Friday afternoon. His informal on-site water quality analysis was helpful and he quoted a fair price for a whole-house UV treatment system. The quote and accompanying paperwork were clear and as-expected, and installation was scheduled for the following week.
I don't think Culligan had to reschedule any other customers, but they definitely understood and accommodated the sense of urgency of this work. The installation went very well, using a two-person team. It only took a couple of hours and their installers were very personable and involved me in some of the installation decisions.
The final phase of Culligan's service, probably and quot;above and beyondand quot;, was Doug driving back up to the house the day after system installation to take official water samples for lab testing. Doug personally delivered the water samples to two different labs. The UV treatment system performed as expected and the lab test results were compliant.
I will contact Culligan again for any water quality issues in our new house.
