Gil and Oliver both were very thorough in figuring out what needed to be done, and every step of the way if there was ever any ambiguity, they asked questions and came up with great solutions for everything that came up. I have never before had such a good experience with a home renovation, and I wish all contractors were as good as them. My project was fairly involved, with a complete renovation of my kitchen, dining room, and laundry room, and yet the whole process took under a month to get done, and it was done right the first time. I wholeheartedly recommend Your Home Builders. No complaints at all."

"I reached out to Johnson & Sons and several other contractors to discuss the possibility of opening up and completely remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms, with the addition of a shower to the former half bath off the master suite. After receiving bids and meeting with each contractor, I went with Johnson & Sons due to the transparency and consideration Vic Johnson showed when discussing the project and its challenges, as well as providing a detailed quote. Because this remodel involved the removal of walls, tiling of the kitchen/bathrooms, potential size constraints, and a re-plumbing of the house, It was very important for me that things be done correctly, to code and with permits. Once demo and construction started, things proceeded at a brisk pace with minimal lag between subcontractors, and inspections. Their tile guy, Tony was great to work with and very helpful with making the appropriate detail selections around the showers. We did have a long wait for a cosmetic piece of cabinet siding, which ended up being the final part needed to complete the project. Vic was direct with me about the issue and the delay. Such a minor issue is in my opinion, very small potatoes compared to having quality work done. Ultimately, Johnson & Sons came in slightly under their contract price - a very pleasant and welcome surprise."

"We met with several companies to try to come up with a plan for our master suite and bathroom remodel. We were not able to find someone that could take our thoughts and create a plan we liked. After meeting with Andrew we were very impressed. He was patient, listened intently and was able to help create the floor plan and was able to bring our vision to life. They provided a virtual rendering so we could actually see what it would look like. Vered, the interior designer, made choosing cabinetry, tile, tub and all detailed finishes easy and seem less. The team at Lux Design Builds addressed all structural and detailed items before the work began. Adrian the onsite lead contractor is very detailed and does meticulous work. They started on time, they were there every day. They were professional, respectful, the budget was right on. Once the job was completed we were actually happy it was done, but sorry to see the people leave...we kind of missed them. We can't give a higher recommendation for this company, their work and their people."

"Vanderlip Construction brought our ideas and vision to a reality on a master and guest bathroom remodel in our 1961 rambler. Eric is both an organized contractor and an experienced craftsman. He is a thoughtful and very responsive communicator who we could always count on to perform the tasks he scheduled throughout our project. He brought in very skilled team of subcontractors who he made sure didn’t disrupt our home life and office work activities. Eric was generous with sharing his expertise and insights that helped us make decisions on key details. We had about an 80 percent design and selected all the tile, fixtures, and custom cabinets but Eric’s attention to detail brought it all together, especially on our counters and master bath shower. Always patient and friendly, he wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the progression and the outcomes. He’s also committed to backing up his work. I suffered a serious leg injury after the remodel and Eric kindly went the extra step to come to our house and install a new light fixture in our bedroom. He scored an A+ on both bathrooms and we made a new friend."
