"Exceeded expectations! Hired Joe's to turn a horrible dirt pile into a lovely backyard. They did that and more. Built multiple stone walls plus one wall from concrete block. All was perfect, done with utmost care and skill. Everyone involved was professional and friendly. They brought creative design ideas that made the whole project better. Respectful, friendly, funny, skilled. Communication was easy. Fully went the extra mile to make everything perfect. I would hire again in an instant!! Now it's time to add my plants!"

"Jason was responsive at first and came to give me an estimate. I was looking to have the job done as affordably as possible. He gave me an estimate that I ended up accepting and trying to schedule him to do the work. We finally got the date settled and I ordered the material. He showed up on the expected start date and I showed him the details of the job, specifically plants that were newly planted that I wanted him to protect and not damage. He started the job and when I got home from work, it looked good. He did not show up for most of the rest of the week but did assure me that it would be done by Friday. Friday he showed up and said that the work would get finished. When I got home I was shocked to find that he had shoveled the dirt he needed to remove for my retaining wall directly onto the plants I had asked to protect. In addition he said the job was complete and that backfill was not included in building the wall. He did offer to uncover the plants so that they did not die. That evening he apologized for the difference in understanding and offered to “make it right” and come back the next day to shovel the dirt off the lower part of the hill away from the plants and back into the retained area...he never showed. I dug for hours in order to deal with the dirt he left in an already landscaped area."

I do maintenance and repair of bussiness and home. the small jobs that no one wants. i am a licence and bonded as a general contractor. I install doors, fix cabinets. repair doors that don't close of seal propertely, i change hvac filters on a quartely basis,i do graffitti removal, pressure clean decks, i secure buildings when broke into, sheet rock repairs,I do facilitating for bussiness and home when people don't have the time or expertise to make sure t he job is done right in a timely fashion, i do office moves, I have been doing this for 20 years, my mission statement is if i can save the customer money i will. I find that some people will take advantage of elderly people and to me that is the greatest sin. I believe that being fair and honest is the best way to approach bussiness. I spent 15 years with the Selah fire department as a LT. Firefighter/EMT/ Mechanic. I was incharge of maintenance for all of the fire equipment and 4 fire stations. Public relations is a very big item with me. If i don't feel i can do the job i will be upfront with customer and not bs them. i want to feel good about my work and have a happy customer. this pays off in the future for future jobs and word of mouth, which will sink your bussiness faster than anything.

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Lawn care is tough work—even when you hire pros, there’s no guarantee your grass won’t die (unless, of course, your company offers a guarantee). But lawn care companies don’t control the rain or watering restrictions. Your type of grass also impacts the type of care required to keep a lush lawn—and how much that care costs. Talk to a lawn care pro to determine the best times to treat your lawn based on type of grass and your climate.

Aerating a newly sodded lawn is generally not recommended immediately after installation. It's crucial to allow the sod to establish itself first, typically over the first growing season. Aerating too soon can disrupt the fragile root systems of the newly laid sod and potentially damage the turf. It's best to aerate prior to laying new sod or wait until the sod has fully rooted and the lawn is stable before considering aeration, usually after the first year.

Short answer: yes. Although aeration is beneficial for most lawns and soil types, if it’s done too frequently, you can weaken the grass’s roots so much that they’ll begin to have trouble. Generally, most lawns can be aerated as infrequently as once every one to three years, although those with more foot traffic and compaction may benefit from aeration up to twice yearly.

A lawn that suddenly and quickly turns yellow is typically the result of a dramatic change in the grass's environment. Heavy rainfall can dilute soil nutrients, rapidly yellowing the grass, and dull lawn mower blades can dry out and damage the grass in a short time. Over-fertilizing can yellow a lawn within a matter of days.

Yes! Aerating your lawn during its dormancy period—usually over winter and early spring—can cause a disturbance that the grass may not easily recover from. Instead, you should aerate your lawn during its peak growth period, usually in the late summer or early fall (though with some variation based on specific grass type).
