"They quickly assessed the situation, gave a reasonable quote, and were very proficient and professional. My condo unit was under contract and a water leak caused by another unit needed to be repaired asap and they did it. Also kept me well informed."

"The quality of work was excellent and they are professionals in every sense of the word. I need no other handyman service as I will use this service only and have shared this contact with friends, my condo association and my doctor!"

"Very well. They were punctual, courteous, and cheerful and they did the work for more than $500 less than the next bid. They cleaned up the broken glass and carried it away, leaving the site in better shape than when the window was broken. I would not hesitate to hire them again, and will recommend them to anyone I know who needs glass work done."

"Installer showed up on time, was very professional and did an excellent job. When we couldn't install the solatube in the desired location (due to some vent pipes that were in the way), he helps give some advice as to good and bad locations in our finished attic where we could install it instead. We are very happy with the final installation and the final product and would highly recommend this company!

"Computer did the "gotta send info to Microsoft" but when tried to reboot it ran through automatic repair without success. I did all the alternative without any success. He came and picked up the hard drive on Tuesday and returned it on Saturday. Fortunately he was able to "restore" without any data loss. Very happy with outcome."

Window Screen Repair questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can replace the screen without removing the door in most cases depending on the frame holding the screen. Doors with removable spline and screen frames make it a snap to replace the mesh while the door remains in place. The best part is that it’s a simple DIY project requiring a few tools in addition to the screen material.

Some hardware or specialty window stores in your area may repair damaged screens, but it’s less time-consuming, more convenient, and potentially more affordable to hire a screen repair technician to come to your home to do the work on-site. The screen technician will have the tools and experience to get the work done the same day, and they can inspect other screens while there to help avoid repeat repair costs in the future.

Some local utilities or state programs offer rebates or tax incentives for energy-efficient upgrades, including solar screens. Make sure to check with your local energy provider or government agency to see if you qualify for any cost-saving programs. Federal tax credits may also be available for qualifying window and exterior home upgrades.

While sometimes used interchangeably, screen doors and storm doors have key differences. Screen doors are simple structures, typically composed of just a frame and a screen, designed to keep out bugs while allowing air circulation. In contrast, storm doors are heavier and more complex, built to protect your home's main entry door from weather and intruders. They usually feature an aluminum frame with interchangeable tempered glass and screen panels, allowing you to switch between ventilation and insulation. A storm door offers more protection and versatility but generally costs more than a basic screen door.

Common problems include leaks, broken glass, and damaged frames. Regular maintenance prevents extensive damage.
