"In Dec. 2017 I called three companies for estimates, one, heavily advertised on the radio, didn't bother to respond, a second, also heavily advertised on the radio, came out and gave me a verbal estimate with a promise to email an official estimate for work that would be scheduled in Jan.; never got an email. Home Team came out to do an estimate the day I called. When I notified them I wanted to use their service they were out within the week and did a great job."

Emergency services offered

"Excellent. Had two other recommendations and one failed to show up and one said they would be here on Thursday to start. Received ATA Contracting contact a little later than the others but I am so glad. They showed up when they said they would and have never seen such a hardworking crew. The owner really knows his business and brought up a better drainage plan than an engineer. A+++++"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible, but professional services ensure even removal, safety compliance, and proper cleanup.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.
