"Called back to make appointment fairly quickly, was very friendly.   Showed up when he said he would.    Jim was very nice and did a great job.   It was a relatively smalll project but sometimes it's hard to even get anyone to call you back, let alone do these small jobs.   We will use again I'm sure, and I would highly recommend for carpet repairs, or whatever carpeting needs."

"I have used Ryan's restoration twice now when we have had water mishaps. They have been responsive in bringing out the huge fans to dry the carpet underneath and returned to make sure there was no moisture left before taking the fans away. They have also cleaned the carpet in a couple of rooms and did very good work.

"Adam was a life-saver for us! His team helped us replace 400sqft of carpeted area with high-quality vinyl plank flooring, including expertly adding plywood to make our floor perfectly level with the rest of the house. We started going down the road of trying to work with Home Depot, and realized far down that path that we couldn't get the quality of consultation and expertise that we needed for our new home. In our 11th hour, we called Adam who promptly came out the next day and personally gave us his expert advice on the job. His price was fair and absolutely in-line with competitors, but we instantly knew we could trust him and his crew to get the nuances that we needed completed. They were on time and on budget, and we're immensely satisfied with the quality of work they turned around. Could not recommend them any higher!"

"My good friend recommended me this company and I called them to see their offer to build a new deck. They gave me good price and I decided to hire them. Ray and his team did excellent quality work and final product is fantastic. In other words, my new deck is beautiful! I can't recommend enough Ray and Palm Construction!"

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

No, it works best under synthetic carpets in high-traffic or moisture-prone areas. Avoid using moisture barrier padding under natural fiber carpets like wool, which need air circulation. The barrier can trap the moisture against natural fibers and cause problems. Also, you can skip it in low-risk areas like upstairs guest bedrooms, where the extra protection often isn't worth the added cost.

The answer depends on the size of the problem. If the carpet damage is small, then you or a pro can fix it with a carpet patch. This commonly includes things like burn marks from fireplaces or small holes from furniture snagging on it.

Other times, replacing the carpet rather than repairing it is best. For example, if you have large, worn sections, water damage, or can’t get rid of a strong odor, it may be time for a replacement. Carpet removal costs average $180 plus the cost of new carpet installation.

Regular maintenance and professional repairs can extend the life of a carpet.

Professionals ensure effective adhesion by choosing the right adhesive for the materials, preparing surfaces properly, and applying pressure as needed. This attention to detail ensures durable connections in various applications from construction to repairs.

Regular vacuuming is essential in homes with animals and children to remove pet hair, dirt, and debris from the carpet's surface. Additionally, prompt cleaning of spills and accidents can prevent stains from setting in. Consider using carpet protectors or area rugs in high-traffic areas to minimize wear and tear on your new carpeting.
