"I asked the owner for a quick price estimate of taking care of my yard.  The bid came back the highest (10X the lowest bid and 4x of whom I ended up choosing).  He talked about his team's professionalism highly, and I trust him based upon the review from the rest of the Angie's list customer reviews.  Still, I think he padded the quote way too much.  Also the estimated work time he gave me was ridiculous. Even I could have cleaned the yard by myself at that speed (but not 4 strong professional workers).  Finally, he overstated on what can happen to my plants if I did not use his "professional care".  I am glad I did not listen to him, but just went for it with only  a few words of advice form the bidder I ended up using.  Nothing died or is looking bold as he predicted.

"From the initial walk-through and quote meeting with Michael, to the actual project being done with Antonio, Elvis and Edwin....the patio project was flawless! Michael helped us design and create a look that we love. The crew was so friendly and worked around some challenges without any drama or issues. Also very important-they finished on time on the date projected and did a great job with clean up. We are VERY happy with our new patio. It is worth every penny. "Sta-Built Construction can do it all! We wanted to make our back yard more livable with a solid foundation for a hot tub and gazebo. We were hoping to make better use of wasted space below our dining room window where nothing but weeds grew well. Brian was the estimator who sketched out a design that not only created a lovely outdoor space, but also incorporated the existing foundation wall into a new retaining wall. The plan also included a paver patio, seat wall, fire pit, and lights. The crew was friendly, polite and hardworking, even in the midst of a record breaking heat wave. They demolished the old concrete patio, built a landing from the existing steps, and moved sprinkler lines. They paid attention to details, taking frequent measurements to ensure accuracy of the construction. Ben was the project manager, checking often on the crewâ s progress and occasionally offering a helping hand where needed. He was very approachable and quick to respond to our questions. Sta-Built is a professionally run company with creative minds and skilled workers. We were kept apprised of the scheduling date through the Sta-Built App, which we found helpful for tracking the project stages and making payments. The bid for the amount of the work done was competitive with other companies. We trusted Sta-Built to do the job right, and they came through with flying colors. We love our new outdoor space and wouldnâ t hesitate to hire them again for a future project."
