"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. "Siding, windows and soffets are great. Doors were the major issue: 1. They took a long time to arrive. 2. Full length glass door was mistakenly put in for a sold door in the basement which would be OK if it did not look straight into a shower. This may have on the door manufacturer. 3. The front door was not installed square and the fiberglass door has now cracked. Accessing my home was not easy but the laborers who unloaded did a little more damage than they needed to."

"He found further issues with another window sill and asked if I wanted to go forward with that work as well.  When he approached me regarding this he also had factored what the cost would be.  He was able to take care of the issue that day instead of needing to come back another day, which I appreciated.  He did excellent work, caulked around the edges, painted it with a protective paint, cleaned up and spoke with me to ask if there was anything more.  He showed me what he had done, I inspected the work and he left with a cheery goodbye.  The fellow was very polite, very considerate and was a pleasure to work with.
