"I was recently seeking a contractor on Angi for an urgent interior paint project at my home with quick turnaround time. This bedroom paint project included wall paint (2 colors; 1 accent wall), wall baseboard trim repair + paint, door trim repair + paint, door paint, and a plumbing panel replacement + paint. When I posted the request on Angi, Eugene from Honeycomb Construction called me within a minute after posting (Wow!). I explained my situation (baby on the way/arriving in weeks, nesting) and project details, and Eugene stopped by the same day to get a good look at room needing paint + repairs. Eugene was able to meet my familyâ s needs to get this room ready within one week. Although the estimated job timeline slid out by one day due to factors out of Eugeneâ s control (cold room on the basement floor, so paint takes longer to dry between coats), he did an excellent job with all the promised work: the paints of coat were even and full, the lines between the two colors of paint were crisp and clean, and the baseboard trim was looking sharp! Eugene does great work, heâ s really responsive and communicative throughout the process, heâ s really professional, and he is very kind. I will be hiring Eugene and Honeycomb Construction again for future home projects. Thank you!"

"2FL just completed a large project that I initiated for a duplex on Bainbridge Island, replacing the siding and all exterior doors and windows. After interviewing several companies, 2FL stood out as having competitive pricing and the most responsive and professional. And I was reassured by others who had given them a positive review. Now based on my own experience, I am grateful to report that they lived up to my high expectations. The timing of the project was important to me, as well as sensitivity to the needs of a tenant with an infant in one of the units and and elderly uncle and cousin living in the other. The management and crew dealt with this effectively, expediting the project to be completed within our timeframe and taking care not to leave hazardous conditions and kept the work areas tidy. A project manager provided oversight and communications. And as it turned out, rot was discovered behind one exterior wall when the old siding was removed that extended into the studs and floor joists. This necessitated the removal of interior sheetrock to repair the damage. The company arranged for the necessary repairs and restoration. All of the personal were delightful. They respectfully answered all our questions and promptly addressed additional needs that hadn’t occurred to us initially. We are delighted with the quality of materials and workmanship and have no complaints or regrets. I highly recommend 2FL for siding, door and window installation needs."

The shingles were made by Malarkey and are rubber that doesn't grow moss like asphalt shingles. The nails are zinc chromate finished over electro-plated zinc for double corrosion protection. The underlayment is a high quality waterproof synthetic fabric instead of the usual cheap tar paper. * Pricing was lower than 4 out of the 5 quotes I received. *

Worst customer relations of any company I have dealt with in many years. Jodi in customer service/accounting threatened legal action against us instead of working with me to resolve my concern regarding the use of the wrong nails after the job was complete. Instead of finding out what they had put on my $14,000 roof, I had to do the research, myself! Aaron, the owner, was no help, either. He told me that nobody cares what kind of nails they use and he didn't know what they used, either. These ignorant people would not lift a finger to find out. I had to call their supplier who didn't know, either. Then, I had to contact the supplier's source who had to contact the factory in China that verified the quality as stated above. *

After the first couple of rains, a leak began to appear where it had not leaked before the roof replacement. The roofers had missed a downspout elbow that was not caught during the final inspection. A call to Aaron got the repair crew to the house at warp speed and got the leak stopped right away. They added the missing elbow the next day and have had no other problems since. I really appreciate their quick response, especially in the rain."

"Palm Construction used subcontractors at every stage (not unusual), but there was little to no oversight. Communication was a problem. I am doubtful that the product (Trex decking) was installed according to **manufacturers guidelines** and worry what that may mean to the longevity of the final product. Some parts of the install were handled brilliantly and with finesse. Other parts were done hurriedly, resulting in damage to the substructure. Palm has made efforts to repair or redo, as necessary, which I appreciate, but some of their promises fell by the wayside."
