"Installing a paver driveway is a major purchase and one should research the company they consider and the likelihood of them to remain in business and be available to service their warranty. From start to finish System Pavers had our full confidence. There were several issues that arose during the installation process and their employees were able to work through each one and complete a beautiful job that will enhance the appearance and value of our home for many years to come. I do not know of anything they could have done to make us happier. I highly recommend System Pavers."

"My only regret is we didn't find Luis on HomeAdvisor sooner.. We had several contractors lined up, after numerous "I'll get to it in the next few weeks" the summer months had passed & time was running out. Frustrated, I did a search found HomeAdvisor and within the hour had 2 or 3 interested contractors, Luis called right away, went out to our site called with a bid & gave me a date he could do the work and we accepted. Get this!! , Luis and his crew even completed the project a full week ahead of the original date. We are very very pleased with the work and our experience with Luis and Home Advisor."

"A great experience replaced a decayed carport roof. They were honest as to what was needed. They identified possible related issues that I might need to consider, where for example, there was wood decay. They rebuilt a small 2nd-story deck and did a great job. They did excellent work, on time, and cleaned up and overall did a fantastic job. I then asked them about my neighbor's property, where the roof, gutters and yard all needed serious attention, as well as replacing two wooden garden gates. They completed all these projects in a day: a fantastic and multi-talented team!!! Great word."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

A traditional driveway gate isn’t your only option when installing a barricade in front of your driveway. A security gate like a swing gate, double swing gate, bi-folding gate, vertical gate, or pivot gate could work just as well as your driveway gate—if not better for your home depending on which qualities you’re after. Like sliding driveway gates, many of these alternatives work with automatic features that simplify entering and exiting your property.

A pallet of pavers will cost about $300 to $700 per pallet. Each pallet covers about 56 square feet. The specific price you pay per pallet of pavers will depend on a few factors, including the type of paver you’re buying, the size and shape of the pavers, and how many pavers you need. In some cases, you’ll spend less per pallet if you’re buying in bulk for very large paver patios.

In most cases, driveway repair is worth the investment. Your driveway is one of the first things people see when they look at your home, so repairing cracks, chips, and potholes can improve your home’s curb appeal and overall value. Repairing your driveway is also almost always more affordable than replacing it entirely—an average of $1,765 compared to the cost of replacing a driveway, which typically costs around $5,000.

The layer of polymeric sand under the pavers plus the polymeric sand that gets swept into the joints between your pavers holds them in place in a few ways. For one, the gritty texture of the sand helps lock the pavers together. Polymeric sand also contains bonding agents that get activated by water. Polymeric sand will take between 24 and 48 hours to fully cure, so do not walk on your paver walkway before this time.

Driveway pavers are often worth the cost. Paver types like cobblestone, brick, and concrete are highly durable, and permeable paver options can be tremendously eco-friendly. While you may pay more for a paver driveway, you’ll see great returns from the increased curb appeal and low maintenance compared to other types of driveways.
