"Schmitty's Plumbing responded to my Angi's service request almost as soon as I submitted it, and they beat out three other Angi plumbing companies in terms of pricing and transparency. I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. "I can't say enough good things about Raman and this company. Kitchen sink backed up yesterday morning. My usual plumber was booked until Feb.(!), my second-in-line missed my call and was shorthanded, I tried a third plumber (no response at all). I saw all the glowing reviews for this company and tried them. They *answered the phone* when I called, soonest they could come was today (next day) 12-2. I needed the work done, but was a little concerned if they ran late (traffic being what it is) or the job took longer than expected, I would have trouble getting to an afternoon appt I had scheduled weeks ago. "This company is amazing! Our main supply line was leaking, the city determined it was on our side. A friend recommended Home Advisers and Akers had a 5 star rating. Andy the owner showed up to see what my problem was and I immediately felt relief. He was confident he could fix / replace the line damage would be minimal. The meter where they had to dig at least a four foot hole was right next to our 50 year old lace maple. They took amazing care in not damaging the tree roots. Andy let me know what to expect every step of the way. He and his crew returned everything back the way it was. You would never have known they were there. We would give them 10 stars if we could. If you need an outdoor plumber, Akers is the one to call!! Traci their office manager answered my call at 7:30 pm! Top notch company!!!"
