In our fourth year we provide house and roof washing, pressure wash pool decks, do interior and exterior painting and cleaning and janitorial services as well as disinfects with an electrostatic sprayer. We are fully insured have workers compensation insurance and are members of Power Washers of North America and the International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association. We pressure wash in NH, MA and Vermont our other services are limited to Cheshire County.

Karen began her cleaning career in 1999. Over the course of fourteen years she worked for several different cleaning companies. She was concerned throughout the years that it seemed the focus on these companies were to hurry, get the job done, and go on to the next one. As with any business, she knew the goal was to make money but at what cost? She didn’t see that the customer was important and she felt that this could be done in a better way. In 2003,Karen decided to start her own cleaning company. She knew it would not be easy with all the other companies out there, but she was going to give it her all. Karens Cleaning Services was born. Karen started with just a handful of customers. She did all the work herself yet first and most important to her was her customer’s satisfaction. Karen was well liked and her work was top quality at all times. Her customers could see she cared and they were soon recommending her to friends, neighbors, and other businesses! Karens Cleaning was growing and she then needed to hire people to help her. In her search for associates, she did interview after interview to make sure her team would treat and respect her customers as much as she did. The focus was and still is to always listen to the customers' needs and give 100% at all times. In doing this Karen has grown her business to service many areas to include Western Massachusetts, Southern New Hampshire. Karen is a hands on owner and will meet and greet all present and new customers with a smile and ask you, “How can I make your cleaning experience better for you?” Karen will go the extra mile for you that you won’t find with most companies. "I own a home in Rutland and Called Servpro Yesterday, the 25th of January. Like many in the area, the nasty weather has caused flooding and we woke up to a wet basement. Having had excellent experiences in the past with Servpro in other parts of the country, I immediately thought of them. I will need to ensure that this situation is remedied properly as the basement is finished and our bedroom is down there. I called and spoke to a woman on the phone for a while. She was quite helpful as I had several questions. I wanted to get them out to the house and she explained that as the situation was bad all over, the earliest they could come was Sunday. There were about 30 cases ahead of mine. Having limited options and wanting to have the work done by the professionals, I signed up. I did tell the lady that I had a plumber coming out shortly to verify the problem was not mechanical related and that I would call back before 5 to verify. I also told her I would begin an insurance claim. She advised me to hold on as my deductible is $1000 and the job might not be that much. I asked her how late she was working and she told me 5:00 pm. I called back close to 5 and some clueless man answered the phone. You know, you would think that a company like Servpro would train people on proper phone skills. I asked to speak to the woman I had spoke to earlier and he said she was gone. I told him I would like to verify my Sunday appointment and he said I was not on the list and that Tuesday would be the earliest. This was unacceptable to me as I know the difference a couple of days can mean to a wet basement, carpeting, furniture and walls. I repeated my request for Sunday and he simply reiterated that it would be Tuesday earliest, with no empathy or concern evident in hos tone. He said that the notes said I was going to get an insurance claim started and was holding off pending getting that action. Not at all true but why would it matter? The work had to be done. I wanted them to come out. I did explain to him, even though it is irrelevant, that the other agent had recommended against starting a claim pending estimating the job. To my disbelief, he told me that she had not said that, as if he were in the room to hear the conversation. Well, she had. At this point, I pretty much decided that perhaps the safety of my home, placed in the care of people that obviously don’t care, might not be the best idea. I told him that at this point I was uncomfortable and he rudely told me to get some one else, as If that was nor already the plan. I hung up. I am not one to write bad reviews, as I believe they do impact others thoughts, in this case, I simply cannot refrain. I will be leaving reviews anywhere else that I can think of and contacting Servpro National. Beware, It did not feel like he was having a bad day, it felt like it was normal."
