"Ryan signed a contract, took deposit money, lied about ordering the materials, finally ordered part of what was needed, repeatedly failed to show up as promised, did spend three hours one time only, on some prep work, always responded to phone calls, text messages and emails, but never followed through on the assurances he offered in response, and failed to return as of this posting any of the deposit per our written and signed contract."

Precision Painting From Start To Finish When you hire Precision Pros, you hire a company that believes in the old ways of doing business. My customers come first, Precision Pros comes second. My company is very easy to work with, and you get every dollars worth. I believe honesty is the best policy, both from my end and the customers as well. I treat every contract as if I were doing work on my very own home. During the prep stage, I take my time picking ever detail apart. It is the most important part of what I do, and the reason why I have not received one call back for poor workmanship. Many contractors in this day and age enter into a contract with one thing in mind, “the quicker I get it done, the quicker I move on to the next one.” The reason for this of course is the almighty dollar. Back in 2008 / 2009 I had an opportunity presented to me by a big name home improvement store. This opportunity would have launched my business to a much higher level financially. It also would have sent me to Georgia for schooling to learn how to cut corners. I turned that down very quickly after researching what it was all about. I do not cut corners, not on my personal projects, and certainly not on your project. With all that said, if you are looking for a contractor who can come in and get it done fast, you have chosen the wrong company for the job at hand. I look forward to doing business with you. Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

While most people associate defrosting icy roads with salt, you can also use sugar for a similar result. Sugar lowers the freezing point of water, melting ice in a pinch.

However, sugar doesn’t melt ice as well as salt because it doesn’t separate the water molecules as efficiently. So, if you need to quickly melt a stubborn patch of ice on your driveway or walkway, it’s best to use salt over sugar for faster results.

Purchasing a snow blower costs $100 to $2,300 on average. It all depends on the make, model, and age of the machine you choose. You can also go the rental route if you only need your snow blower for a temporary period. Renting a snow blower costs an average of $75 per day from your local hardware store or rental facility.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.

Most roofs can take quite a bit of weight from snow, but their ability to handle heavy snow is not unlimited. Most roofs can handle about 20 pounds per cubic foot of fresh snow. Ice, ice dams, and other factors can contribute to dangerous roof weight. Newer roofs, sloped roofs, and those that have more support can hold more snow than older roofs, flat roofs, and roofs with widely spaced beams. To figure out how much snow your roof can hold, you will need to contact a professional roofing contractor to calculate the maximum snow load for your specific roof.

Yes, but it works best with lightweight snowblowers, the single-stage models or electric versions. Also, you need to have a rubberized intake edge on the ground and preferably rubberized auger paddles, not a metal version. Otherwise you may chip or damage the surface as you work. When it doubt, let the snow lie.

You can also use a snow blower on leveled gravel, but only if you carefully adjust the intake height so it doesn’t kick up the gravel and turn it into flying missiles.
