Very pleased overall. Steve the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a fair price for the work that was done and stopped by regularly to make sure everything came out the way it was supposed to. Just a couple weeks after the project was completed we already have grass growing in the yard!

It went extremely well. They showed up on time and made great progress. The started on a Wednesday and finished by Friday. It look great then and it still looks great. Very please that took the time to answer my questions and also do the little extra I asked. We plan to have then back in the Spring to do some more work for us.

I called 4 different companies and only 2 companies showed up to quote the lawn job. Key Landscaping replied and Steve was very prompt and professional and had a great knowledge of all aspects of lawn and irrigation. I felt completely confident in him and his crew which in fact proved, I definitely chose the right person for the job!! The crew showed up when promised and it only took a total of two days from start to completion of the job. I was very impressed with the results and Steve even took the time to explain to me the operation of the irrigation controller and made several trips to my home to check on the progress of the lawn to make sure everything was progressing the way it was suppose to be. Steve responded promptly to my first inquiry call. He showed up the day we decided to meet to discuss our project and vision.
He delivered us a quote for the job and it fit within the budget we had set aside- a nice surpise. Steve and his team of highly talented landscapers delivered the needed equipment, and worked very h****** the project to completion.
We went from a scarce yard with more weeds than actual grass to a beautiful lush lawn in a matter of about 15 days from beginning to end. Steve's knowledge of the type of seed that will work best in our climate is paramount, as is the soil condition- he understands it all and wants his customers to be completely satisfied.
Now a days when some contractors can't even return the first phone call it's refreshing to know that a company with values like Key Landscape are still around! I highly recomend Steve and would hire him back in a second for our next undertaking!

Steve Key and his son Zach did an awesome job on our patio. They tore out the fence surrounding an enclosed patio and replaced the tiles with beautiful designer stones and open the entire area up to the back yard. What impressed me most was the prep work to make sure that there would be no "frost heaves" common in New England.
It should also be noted that they worked closely with another contractor that built a pergola on the patio that Key Landscaping created. All contractors worked together as a team and the project went without a hitch! I only wish that Angies List would allow me to display a before/after photo because the results are nothing short of amazing!
After all the work was completed I refinanced the house and had it appraised. The bank appraiser raved about our patio. She said she has not seen anything like it before and commented that it was like adding an additional room to our house. She said it positively affected the value of our house.
I would definitely recommend Key Landscaping for patios or other jobs that requires detailed work. They did a great job!!!

Our backyard was a disaster: an old splintering deck, a large portion of unusable space due to a sloped lawn, drainage issues and a retaining wall that needed replacement.
We went with Key Landscaping per recommendations from trusted sources. Our yard was a big job and big investment but Key was definitely the right company to use. The level of quality and professionalism with which they tackled the job was extremely impressive. It's rare you find companies who take as much pride in the quality of their work as Key did. They weren't satisfied until we were and approached everything always with an eye towards excellence. They also brought useful suggestions to our project as to moving existing plants and bushes therefore saving us money in the process. Our yard has gone from an unusable and dangerous space, to a kid-friendly, outdoor living space complete with beautiful patio, fire pit and waterfall. Calls and texts were returned promptly and workers showed up when expected. Everyone involved with Key was friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend this company to any one in our region looking for landscapers with integrity.

Very professional and quick to respond. Left messages with 8 other companies for quotes, and only 3 responded. Key Landscaping wasn't the cheapest, but, I think the quality was far above what we would have recieved from the less expensive companies. Only issue was that he was doing other jobs at the same time and there were days that no one showed up when they said they would be there, but, job was completed within a timely manor and they were behind on other jobs due to a rainy spring. Very satisfied with the job they did.

Remove 5 concrete slabs totaling approximately 100 square feet by 6 inches thick.
Prepare the work area by tamping the ground, laying bedding sand( 1.0 ton), followed by plastic seal, the crushed hard pak (3.5 tons) up to the correct elevation.
Install Techo-Bloc (Hera square and rectangular) individually in pattern.
Fill spaces with 2 bags of polymeric sand Landscape and reseed grassy area disturbed by process
After tiles set for approximately 7 days, acid wash to bright out colors
