"The job was done well. However upon leaving I asked the performer to confirm that the payment had already been made with the credit card on file with Angi. She did not acknowledge that, but instead told me I could use Venmo. I told her I did not and then she said she would take a check. I asked her how much and she gave a number different from the original quoted price. When I questioned the changed amount she reiterated her number. I asked if I should draft it to Angi and she said no, to her name. So somewhat confused and suspicious, I wrote out the check. The next day I got a text that my credit card had indeed been charged by Angi for the original amount so in essence I was double charged for the cleaning project. I called up Angi to relate the incident. Rhyan answered the phone and was very helpful. I do not know if the cleaner was new to Angi and perhaps unaware of the way Angi compensates their subcontractors but be wary of paying directly to the job performer."

"Ryan signed a contract, took deposit money, lied about ordering the materials, finally ordered part of what was needed, repeatedly failed to show up as promised, did spend three hours one time only, on some prep work, always responded to phone calls, text messages and emails, but never followed through on the assurances he offered in response, and failed to return as of this posting any of the deposit per our written and signed contract."

While I am a sole proprietor, my numerous contacts in the area allow me to subcontract and be subcontracted for any of the services I provide. The size of the job is no problem. The estimates are free and I am certified in Lead Paint removal. Financing is subject to negotiation

Roof Ice and Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The fastest way to remove snow is by using a high-powered snow blower to clear your driveway in a few minutes, depending on its size and length. Other snow removal methods that get fast results are a wheelbarrow plow and a snow thrower. If you need immediate help with removing snow, consider hiring a snow removal service to take care of it for you.

If you live in a cold climate with frequent heavy snowfall, investing in a snow blower may be worth the cost. Another thing to consider when factoring in cost is if you have physical limitations that make shoveling snow difficult or even dangerous. So, you may want to start shopping around for a snow blower if you have either or both of these scenarios.

In most cases, it’s worth it to pay for professional snow removal. You can shovel the snow yourself, but it’s very labor-intensive and puts you at risk of injury or illness by performing exhausting manual labor in slippery conditions. Paying a professional removes that risk and saves you time and energy. Depending on your agreement, you could wake up to a cleared driveway and a car that’s ready to drive rather than have to get up early to do the work yourself.

Clearing snow from your roof can be a tedious and time-consuming job. Even so, it is extremely important to maintain your roof during the winter months. You can help prevent ice dams and avoid roof collapse.

As a side note, rather than shoveling your roof, you should always use a roof rake to modify the job. Otherwise, call in a professional.

There is no hard and fast rule about using a snowblower on a specific amount of inches, but most snow removal experts suggest using one on 2 or more inches of snow for best results. This will also depend on what type of surface you’re working on and whether the snow is dry or wet.
