"We had painting done in three areas - two rooms and the garage. One of the rooms needed a lot of patching first from the removal of closet supports. The garage had not been painted before so it needed a primer coat first. Rich and his assistant did a great job in all three areas. They were very careful during prep and protecting other surfaces (trim, carpet, and floor). They were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Communication throughout the job was very good. Communication with the project manager was good. We are very happy with the appearance of all three rooms after the painting."

"I bought a 199 dollar coupon from Angie’s list for 8 hours of painting work. Wilbur was quick and responsive, and came out to give me an estimate immediately. He assured me that painting over my current wallpaper in these rooms would be a lot of work and gave me an estimate of 850 plus purchase of paint. While it sounded a bit overpriced, I agreed. He put me on the books immediately, which I truly appreciated. I even changed my mind about what I wanted painted, and he was quite agreeable to it. The morning off, he was here with two women. They were professional and overall got the job done in a timely manner. However, it is the handling of payment that left me with a VERY bad taste in my mouth. I was struggling with two very small children, and about to leave for a birthday party when he insisted that I pay by check immediately. The job wasn’t finished. I asked if I could send a check by mail, all to no avail. Balancing a screaming baby, I grit my teeth and wrote the check. Frankly, I felt discriminated against. I highly suspect he wouldn’t ask this of anyone who was Caucasian and living in a gated community as I am. Most people would sympathize with a woman in that difficult situation. Also, a spot was missed. He came out to fix that within a couple of days, and apologized for the interaction. He stated many people haven’t paid him, that is why he insisted. And of course, talked over me as soon as my husband came in the room. That’s still no way to treat a young mom and professional who paid for what I suspect is an overpriced job. I’m sure he will deny all of this, but that doesn’t make it any less true. Don’t make assumptions about people when you don’t know them. While he and his crew did a great job, and he will insist he didn’t discriminate because he ‘hires black people’, I’m still very disappointed and cannot recommend him because of this. The truth hurts, sir please check your incorrect biases at the door. I doubt you would’ve done this to a man or a Caucasian, don’t do it to me, either. I have no intention of hurting you or your business, but I hope you keep this in mind during future interactions with other customers. For these reasons, I don’t think we’re a good fit in the future."

"Restart his crew were able to paint my one story vinyl sided home and update it from its dingy dark yellow to a fresh Agreeable gray. He was very knowledgeable about his Sherwin Williams Preferred products and was able to convince me (a hard bargain) in a more modern refreshing update. "I am so happy I went with Get It Done!!  Every step of the process went very smooth, from getting an initial estimate to having job done.  Everybody was very punctual and courteous.  
Dave (the owner) came out for the original estimate, and he was one of the two guys who took the wall down and re-framed the opening.  I could not believe how fast they got it done!  I guess that's the experience you get when you hire a true professional.  They made sure everything was well and ready for the plaster people to come and finish the job.  Oh, and they left the "job site" spotless!
The plaster guys were very professional too.  The walls in my house are textured and they made sure that the finish was an exact match.  Tim looked like a true artist and I hope he didn't mind me staring (I was trying to take mental notes on how these things are done).  They cleaned everything up and came back the next day to do some light sanding, and again, I would have never guessed I had contractors in my house by the way they left everything.  Spotless!
Dave came back the same day plaster guys were done to install trim and made sure that everything looked the way I had hoped it would.  
I can't believe there was a wall there just a week ago!  I loved working with Get It Done Contracting and will definitely hire them when we are ready to tackle other projects.  I highly recommend them!
